Never had owned a Jeep before, but my Dad’s last project was a 1985 CJ7. He didn’t get to finish it before he got too sick and then passed in 2006, but I’m finally at a point to have it restored and it’s sitting in queue to be done. Thank you for all the great ideas, Mike!
Sorry to hear about your dad , I lost my mom at a young age. I’d do anything to get her 65 pickup back. Good luck on your restoration project it sounds like a lot fun. 🍻
@@mikemorris7776 I bought it, it’s a tire tailgate table can find them on Amazon. Says they work up to 40” tires. 🍻 www.amazon.com/dp/B06Y1GRNWG/ref=cm_sw_r_as_gl_api_gl_i_RZN7VSK3RSSFF9V5MNQY?linkCode=ml2&tag=atemoffroad-20
TJ. The True Jeep. My 97 TJ takes excellent care of me and takes me places few are able to go. I commend you for your preparedness and organization skills.
Just gotta say, it was super peaceful watching your video! Makes me feel like I’m over landing with you. I’m currently trying to fix my 1993 Jeep YJ Sahara so that I can go over landing by this summer or fall cross my fingers, thanks for some great inspiration! Safe travels out there!
Thanks for watching, I hope you can get your YJ done soon so you don’t miss this camping season, I’m currently held up in a Tj build too, Probably take a break so I can get back out there. 🍻🍻
I don't miss a lot about California but I do miss winters in those areas. Feb here sees -40 F and a lot of snow.... on the bright side, no bugs. ;) Nice rig and pooch.
Great video to just watch and experience a whole new world, or at least it feels like I get transferred into a whole new world. Thank you and wish you all the best :)
I always look forward to your overlanding/camping videos, basically all the vids you do. Always clear and informative... Great camping spot. The TJ is looking great. Solo camping is awesome.
Thank you I really appreciate the support. I’m actually thinking about leaving Gia map links in the description box , that way if your ever in the area exploring you could camp where I camp! What do you think?
Shes always fun to ride along with, and the 8k heater is by VEVOR which It looks like they are currently sold out at the moment! Maybe check Amazon or eBay! Thanks for watching 🍻
I like the video. It's that tent rack home made??? The exo cage. I'm just curious about it. I want to get a rooftop tent for my TJ. But I don't want a big bulky exo frame sticking out.
Great vid! I dig hearing the sounds of camping. The editing was spot on. How are you liking that tent? I'm considering picking one up. Seems like a great deal
So far the tent has held up I’ll be doing a one year review here soon now that the warranty is up, but yeah affordable and lightweight. Thanks for joining me on the trail today 🍻
Great video, i’m really interested to hear on how the inspired overland tent is holding up. I’m thinking about buying one, can you give me some pros and cons about the tent and if you had to do it again, would you buy the same tent?
Dang that breakfast looked good! Did Charlie get some of that too? Also, not sure if it's beneficial or not, but putting a Y or T on your heater hose and a smaller hose coming off of that to put in through the soft top window to keep the Jeep cabin warm for those cold mornings might be useful? I was watching and thinking that if you had to pack up in a hurry, then at least your seat and steering wheel would still be kind of warm, lol. Great video Dustin, be safe out there!
I do share with Charlie, she loves the fresh rasp and blueberries she doesn’t like strawberries this lol and yes I do have a Y fitting that I use to heat up two tents , that’s another great idea for heating up the cap. I think it would be perfect for when the kids get up in the mornings they can get in and warm up a bit on our snow camps. going to have to try this. Thanks for watching I appreciate it 🍻
Hi man. Been following your videos. Im a tj owner too and the same as you I don’t have any snorkel yet. Any thoughts about it? Is it really necessary? In this video you even have to do water crossings
More than just keeping water out, they help keep the dust out of the air filter and engine. I advocate them , I just can’t commit to cutting up the jeep at the moment. Thanks for watching and welcome to the channel 🍻
All I can think about is him driving up setting up the camera then returning for the shot. Then climbing out of the tent to set up the camera then climbing back up and hanging his boots for the shot. So tedious this you tube game
All the footage at the beginning where you drive and we know you have to go pick your camera back up after filming is truly unnecessary. Just saying it's boring
Hi everyone, thanks for tuning in. The new battery I’m using for the diesel heater is here. So far I’m impressed amzn.to/3YrnwrQ

Ah so those are the switchbacks you were talking about a while back? Nice!
Yeah those are them, I would have captured them in better quality with my drone but didn’t think to check the settings before flight lol 🙄 🍻
What a cool camp spot!
Will have to come back here sometime, loads to explore, I think you would like the switchbacks it’s a awesome experience !
Great video!

That one was vevor. 🍻
Not to be Nosie but what part of California are you located? And what kind of pan was that?
Hi there, Im in the Central Valley 209 area and the fry pan is from good cook essentials! Thanks for watching 🍻

How did you mount it? Can you make a video? Is it removable? Did you have to fabricate something?
