It has a very distinct quality this fast count. Feel very light and uplifted after this. It has a very energizing effect on me. This pace for finishing poses maybe a bit too fast. Especially if you want to do pranayama after that
Kaliana Yoga you’re welcome, please feel free to get in touch- jason@onyouryogamat.com 🙏🙏 (Ps this is quite a speedy ashtanga practice- there are slower ones on this channel too)
Hi... Can you pls make me available audio version of this counting...? It's been 3 years and I have been following this.. this has been one of the happy thing I have it
Sejal Shekhawat I’ll try and get that for you, I’ll have to find the original audio on a hard drive somewhere..... I actually have a 90 minute version if you like- it has a nice pace to it
I wouldn't mind definitely having audio version of both of them.. I would lik to save 1 hour for lifetime as it really helps in squizzing practice within available time.. will shoot mail from your website.. would be great to get in touch with you through email. thanks again...
Just to let you all know I recently released an exciting new video of the Primary Series but laid out in a unique never-before-seen format: all the information about Sanskrit count, asana name, drishti, breath, modifications is also displayed on the screen for each posture and movement. Check out the Sun Salutations and Standing Postures recently added here on my UA-cam Channel or for the full Primary Series click here: onyouryogamat.com/primary
You're welcome. I took the audio from Sharath's primary series video and changed the pace using an audio program (Logic) on my Mac- it seemed a little uneven with sometimes quite a few long pauses between 9...... and 10! Also I changed a few other things- like not coming up to standing between the first two standing forward bends etc. I hope it represents how Sharath would count a primary series through now- even if it is a little on the brisk side! Namaste 🙏
The count inside the asanas is too quick, I tried breathing in accordance to it and it was definitely not ujjayi tempo. It seems that when you push the primary series below 70 minutes or so something just has to be sacrificed, even if you're able to quickly get into each asana.
🙏Thank you very much from Thailand for the speed of an hour long series. I can practice in available morning time.😊
... perfect...for me...since years... thank you...

Loved the speed of that!!! Good to have for when I'm pushed on time. Thank you.
I really like the way that it’s a little bit like my modified primary, but just omit the postures That are too advanced for me and I am good!
Beautiful practice so glad you shared! I am going to take this and hopefully share ashtanga practice soon too. Would love your input.❤️

Thank you very much for uploading this! Where did you get the audio of Sharath counting, if I may ask?
You're welcome.

Yes, I agree, it’s more of a demonstration, or for those days when you have enough energy. 90 minutes is really ideal for this series 🙏
Thank you 🙏
