Obedience can be due to fear of God. So it ain’t much different.

You made the word obedient sound awful and ungodly. So does that also apply to children?

Did I? That was definitely not my intention. Obedience is not a bad word at all. I just tried to explain the difference between submission and obedience, but didn’t mean to put obedience in a bad light. God tells us to obey so it is not a bad thing at all😊

I thought that you explained everything beautifully. I chose to submit to my lovely husband and sometimes he makes errors of judgement - but that’s ok
