Kind of love that Brunt was always a big softy when it came to little Carmen and that she was always the most upset when Carmen turned her back on them. Although I kind of wish she deficient with shadow San when it was time. She loved Carmen so much and I think raising Carmen definitely filled a bit of a hole in her life for a while.
Not only in her life but in the life of the other vile faculty aswell, u can see in several cases how they referred to her in such sweet ways, we even saw bellum trying to fill the void of Carmen's leave with her robots when she very specifically asked the robot "Roby stral my pocket protector, WITHOUT me seeing" just like little carm. Not only that but we also see maelstrom ( yes surprisingly) slip, in one episode he said "Our former love, pride and joy" then pauses for a sec before immediately saying "Who Now has turned against us ofc". You can see in this scene he slipped and then immediately tried changing the fact that he said that ( more understandable in his voice tone).
Honestly, as much as I hate coach brunt I accually really liked how she treated carmen even though she is evil and everything I still want to see a scene where coach brunt feels bad for carmen and saves carmen if she is in trouble. I mean come on who wouldn't want to see a scene like that
@@gibbs615Just like Sly is a descendant of long lines of master thieves who have been stealing from the world for decades to collect stolen goods in their Cooper Vaults for the next Coopers can open the vault, which is a great thing because Sly has an infamous family history of being the best thief as they become the legendary thieves with their crafting skills and abilities to transform Carmen into a Cooper.
The animation style is beautiful and charming, the characters are unique, and the villains are fun. It's lighthearted enough to be a good show for escaping the plight of the world, but the character relationships and themes are intriguing and dark enough to keep you invested and engaged. If you're a fan of western animation I would also recommend Infinity Train, which is yet another criminally underrated cartoon with great characters and dark undertones.

Carmen has been there for as long as she can remember, and was raised there. As the video explains- theft was always a harmless game to her. So when she grows up to become a VILE agent and is put onto the field, she discovers that she doesn't want to hurt others. This leads to her breaking away from VILE(the only family she has) to fight for what she thinks is right. The formula for an episode is usually that she finds a lead that VILE is planning on stealing something important. Usually something of monetary or historical value. She goes to a different part of the world and steals the piece of art before VILE can, returning it soon after VILE's attempted heist. So she was raised to become a criminal but broke away from those harmful roots. The equivalent of the secret services in this universe- believes that Carmen Sandiego is a criminal- so that's the world's perception of her even though she's actually trying her best to preserve history and stop thieves. There's a lot of hard conflict about family- as well as a very great cast of side characters. But VILE is made up of a head group of leaders, then the young VILE graduates that Carmen had trained alongside for a very long time. Those are your villains.

It is an amazing show and I highly recommend it! None of the characters are op as you would expect and if you like action this is the show for you.
