- Six and a half freaking minutes of nothing but strange teenage love. I don't know how many people will actually sit through this video. I made it halfway, then stopped. Anyway, here is Aja and Steve's relationship in 3Below, and Rise of the Titans.

I just love how they go against the cliche that boys have to be bigger than girls, when Aja is in her alien form
But tall aliens are a cliche so it's kinda counterbalanced.

That's not really a cliche. That's just genetics, guys are more likely to grow larger than girls. Ofc that's not always the case but I feel like height something so redundant that it really shouldn't even need to be considered a "cliche".
Look I'm 5'7'', I'm about as average as height gets, there seems to be an equal number of people shorter and taller than me regardless of gender. And honestly I really couldn't care less if a woman is taller than me if I like her.

I don’t get why people complain about the pregnancy arc in this but they didn’t complain when Cosmo (from fairy odd parents) got pregnant and gave birth to Poof and they literally filmed the birth
It's not the same thing, not even close. Steve and Aja are teenagers, Steve is still in High School, they're not married, and they don't even live on the same planet. The whole thing is practically a joke and whenever 3Below handled serious real-life issues, they did it respectfully, which shows much the trio of idiot writers understood and cared about 3Below.
Goes back even further. Carl Wheezer from Jimmy Neutron is a parent. He gave birth to an alien jellyfish.

What i really adore about their relationship is they ACTUALLY talked about their cultural differences and how their expectations of what romance is due to it affect their love and view of it, and BECAUSE they talked it out they found a balance that made then both happy.
They should've had a conversation about the reproduction differences tho....

Literally my biggest complaint too! I remember how much I hated Steve when we first met him but after some nice development from his character from season 2 to Wizards he became one of my favorite characters! But now that ending made it all seem pointless! I swear I could come up with a better ending to this franchise!

I mean, it kind of had a nice lesson, anyone can be a hero. But it kinda also gives the lesson that you can turn back time to erase your mistakes and ruin months of development for your friends and erase their teenage pregnancy babies.
Okay the teenage pregnancy reversal thing wasn’t that bad. It can be detrimental having kids before your not ready.

I agree, I wish i'd known that was in the show in the end. That way, I would know it's start looking at it. It's very creepy to me.

@@devinnall2284 I think its pretty simple. Dreamworks was making money off of it. They ended the series with that movie and they wanted to make more money off of it, so they reset everything to make another series
I was maily talking about that weird pregnancy stuff. Though I would be interested in watch a sequel series where Toby is the Trollhunter.

Honestly, although the pregnancy thing is kind of wild, it's sort of cute. She was so happy to see those babies, and she was very supportive, too. He was proud of them. Despite how weird it is, it does show a good relationship dynamic that breaks traditional gender roles! I won't hate on it too much.

You ever notice how making something kid friendly can make it really fucked up after a bit of thought? Like he got parasitized with all those kids at once from a kiss in a body not meant to hold them.
The writers wanted to be "progressive" which nowadays means lewd, disturbing, or morally careless or sometimes all three!
I definitely wanted Staja in 'the movie'. Not all comical like Steve getting pregnant or something.
Steve went from a jerk bully to an amazing Knight who will protect the ones he loves without hesitation. I wanted more mature Steve in the movie. Show the TOA fans how much he's grown. (Though I'm not really saying that Steve should have picked Excallibur from the stone. I can't imagine Steve welding it. I prefer Excalibur Jim.) I wanted a scene where Aja and Steve fighting the bad guys together side by side. Not a scene where Steve gets pregnant ( it was really funny though) Steve getting pregnant was like ignoring all the maturity he's went through in Trollhunters, 3 Below, and especially Wizards. Sure, he gets to be a DAD to SEVEN half - akriddion babies, but since they were like, erased when the hole Time travel happened there weren't any scenes where he and Aja raises their kids and know what feels like to be parents.
Steve needs to be appreciated more. I loved how he's changed through the series.
I might hate 'the movie' but that doesn't mean that I hate the entire TOA saga.

I just got disturbing confirmation today if those rumors after seeing those clips. Yikes. Anyways, the show does not have that crap, and it's really good
