It’s so weird seeing full hub worlds in this game. I played the PS2 version growing up and you just got to levels through different areas of the Simpsons’ house
I'm not normally super big on rhythm games, especially DDR, but this level is easily one of my favourite and most memorable final boss fights I've ever experienced.
I couldn't beat that last level either, it got really overwhelming, I should try to hunt down a copy and see if I can finally beat it, as exploring the Springfield zone was something I was looking forward to in the PS2 version
The cutscenes were originally going to be in-engine, but Fox execs apparently requested that they be done in the show's 2D style (which were done by the South Korean animation studio AKOM like many of the show's episodes). The in-engine ones can be found in earlier builds, as well as in the Nintendo DS version.
@@yourlocalcashregister1123 No. The comment is slightly wrong. The pre-release cutscenes were 3D pre-rendered FMVs. The 3D cutscenes in the full release are in-engine on the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions. The other 3D versions just used footage from the PS3 and 360 versions for the 3D cutscenes.

I remember playing the shit out of this game with my bro and being amazed by the split screen and the fact that we weren't tethered to one another at all.
