Dude, I loved this game as a kid. I actually just played it a couple months ago for the memories. It was made by the same team that made the legendary Battle for Bikini Bottom. I think probably the most beloved of the Scooby Doo games, and probably one my favorite licensed games of the PS2 era.

I would give my left leg to see a modern remake of this game. It is my number one favorite. I have spent countless hours trying to figure out how y'all did it! A dream of mine would be to one day be able to see it in VR or Unreal Engine. Gosh. It eats me up sometimes
Night of 100 frights is awesome, I’m 24 and still pull out my ps2 just to play this game. It’s sad to say out loud but I still get stuck at certain parts of this 😭😂 best game of all time

I love that game. IMO a lovely homage to the older Scooby-Doo shows. It was so fun, but for sure one of the more difficult games from what I can remember. I wish I can play this again.

Dudes this is one of the best and mostly fond Scooby Doo games ever created. I played it as a kid myself and was obsessed with it. I'm terms of fond games based on TV shows during that era it was right up there with Simpsons Hit & Run and SpongeBob Battle for Bikini Bottom.
Oh yeah good times. Though I never got Battle for Bikini Bottom when I was a kid, but I did play the Rehydrated on the PS4 and it was really good. People say that's one of the best Spongebob games. But Scooby-Doo Night of 100 Frights and Simpsons Hit and Run were the two I played a lot when I was a kid on the Gamecube.

Oh man I remember this game! It was developed by the same people that did Battle for Bikini Bottom. Both of them were my childhood! So many great memories with this one. I kinda like how this game has a sort of Metroidvania feel to it and a connected world between the three areas. This was the first video game I ever had as a kid and the nostalgia I have for it is unreal!! You should totally do Unmasked next, it's another classic for me 🙌🏼
I had this game for the GameCube. I don’t remember getting very far but what I played of it REALLY stuck. The guy is Don Knotts, who is an amazing actor and is in entirely too much Scooby Doo stuff for any one person to be in. I love it! Yeah, the graphics make the animation a little… wonky, but it honestly fits the vibes so well.
This game needs to be remastered to the current consoles. I would love to see what an update Scooby Doo Night Of 100 Frights looks like. You should do a playthrough of the whole Scooby Doo game.
I have this game on Playstation 2 and I love it 😁 Out of all of the Scooby Doo games, it's easily the best one by far. I completed it 100% by collecting all the scooby snacks, beating the actual game and collecting all of the monster tokens.
I remember my cousins and I being too dumb to get past the first level of this game when we were like 4 so we’d just run around it and have fun but never advance past it 😂
This game was absolutely good for its time and I say that trying not to be blinded by nostalgia. Even the comparison to LBP that game was also pretty good (not so sure about the third) but it also came out a while after Scooby Doo. Idk if it's still worth playing now though. Also the ps1 Scooby Doo game Cyber Chase. I remember playing it on ps2 and I couldn't figure out how to save progress on ps1 games on ps2 but I still played it just restarted every time lol..
I love this game with a passion. It was one of the first video games I ever played, and I still play it every year around Halloween time. I am always impressed by the amount of detail put into it. You can see minor levels in the backgrounds of other parts of the game (e.g. you can see parts of the hedge maze from the docks around 4:23). This kind of thing is common in games these days, but back then, it was much less common.
I still have the Gamecube version of this game. So many fun memories and so many callbacks to the early cartoon series! The main problem I have with it though, and I'm sure you've noticed it too, the game doesn't give you enough hints about where to go and what to do, meaning there's a lot of backtracking and trial and error about where to use a power-up to progress.
yeah the game itself is pretty cryptic, but given how Mystery Inc. find few clues and cryptic hints on the case their solving, it honestly fits in with it, but yeah this game does have a lot of pretty annoying backtracking....so much backtracking to previous area's once you unlock new abilities
This game was so memorable for me , until I scratched it and it could never play on my PS2 ever again. Until I cleaned it enough to where I could get to Shaggy picking you up in the forest then it would crash 😢 I love this game, I really do. I’m glad I subbed to you guys. So, not that anyone will see this, right, but I am ALMOST positive that the Elmer Fudd guy at 3:06 is the actor Don Knotts, who has appeared MULTIPLE times in the Scooby Doo Universe (Scooby Dooniverse if you will)
I heard the laugh track in another UA-cam video, and 19-20 years later the memories hit me, forgot the game existed until then. Even the monster tokens are pure nostalgia.
I remember I was 6 years old when I got this game, playing it in my 10” tv sitting 3 inches from the screen, this was my favorite game growing up, and fast forward to today and I’m turning 22.. this video was the best way to start my birthday, thank you guys so so much!

Because I believe it was actually him as he was still alive at the time.
Night of 100 Frights I originally played on the Ps2. Unmasked I played on the GameCube and I LOVED that game, Mystery Mayhem? Also a great game. Those 3 are among the only real ones I played as a kid but I loved every second of all of them
Not only do I remember this game, it scared me so much as a kid we had to give away our copy to my cousin because I couldn't stand to even have it in the house.
Seeing those monster tokens triggered like 1% of a memory of me playing this game or watching someone else play it(like my brother) but I was so young I can’t make out anything no matter how hard I try I can only remember a few of the game models (like monster tokens) and a few seconds of the black knight boss fight cutscene. I can’t see it very clearly but I know for i fact I have seen them before and it’s not dejavu because I would have been about 4-5 when I think this took place and it would make sense since that’s the exact kinda game me and my brother would play. Thank you for completely melting my brain
This is one of the best Scooby Doo games ever! I replayed it again last month. It brings back nostalgia for the classic show. Yes, there are times when it’s hard to know where to go, but I will definitely play it again!
I actually remember this game as one of the first titles we played on the Gamecube. It's sort of like a 'Metroid-style' puzzle platformer, where different areas need different upgrades in order to progress (like walking through the sticky docks section with the crabs and glowy-diver dudes). I always remember just wandering around and finding things that helped me progress. Some of the sections I recall were kinda annoying to get through without proper upgrades, but I remember beating the game at least once. Was a lot of fun, actually.
I was too young to understand how to play it, but I watched my older siblings play and I loved every minute of it. All the nostalgia of the sound effects, story, music, etc.
This was my first ever video game back in kindergarten! My nostalgia for this game is insane. My dad and I were stuck on the trampoline level for like 2 - 3 weeks cuz it was genuinely difficult and we were both new to video games

Night of 100 Frights I originally played on the Ps2. Unmasked I played on the GameCube and I LOVED that game, Mystery Mayhem? Also a great game. Those 3 are among the only real ones I played as a kid but I loved every second of all of them
I played this so much as a kid. I remember finding it realy hard and getting constantly stuck 😂
*sees the title of the video* Night of 100 Frights is the ONLY Scooby Doo game that gets any high praise from anyone. What are you talking about?
UPDATE: bought it, played it, had fun.
You guys are absolutely hilarious, had me cracking ip within the first two minutes. Love your commentary! Subbed. ^^
Woul love to see you guys complete this game it gets more unique as you go! Definitely excited to see you guys play this!!!
This is one of the best Scooby Doo games ever! I replayed it again last month. It brings back nostalgia for the classic show. Yes, there are times when it’s hard to know where to go, but I will definitely play it again!
Bro now you guys should play scooby doo unmasked. It’s my favorite one
I remember watching you on the Currie chanell and i forgot about you so glad to see that you are still making videos.
“Nobody remembers”
I remember tho. Am I the only one who just watches these guys play old school games and get throwback vibes?
I remember I got lost in the game when I was 8 and 9, but when I was 10 I didn't give up on the game, I beat it all by myself.
Jokes on you this game was my childhood. I've kept my PS2 and this play this game regularly 😎
This was my first ever video game back in kindergarten! My nostalgia for this game is insane. My dad and I were stuck on the trampoline level for like 2 - 3 weeks cuz it was genuinely difficult and we were both new to video games
2:51 Wait... isn't that supposed to be Don Knotts from The New Scooby Doo Movies? Man I haven't played this game in like forever.
played this game every time I was home sick from school as well as scody doo unmasked
