All those years ago and still remember this concert like it was yesterday. I’m the black girl in the red t-shirt screaming my head off at the front. The only way I can describe seeing him so close was surreal, it felt like seeing something like God, like a messiah, for real. Just ONE move he would make and we freaked OUT. He stood there while we screamed, fainted or went into SHOCK. He came out to war with this opening performance, and my god, we were ready to go to war with him. 🤣 Spellbinding, magical which I will never forget it until the day I die. The memory is like no other. It’s bittersweet for sure of what we once had. The power he had over commanding an audience was truly magical, under 130,000.00 people packed in a stadium. Fans were passing out (you bet they were) carried and tussled over our heads like rag dolls , unbelievable!!! Me, I stood my ground as I wasn’t going NOWHERE!!!’ I know I will never witness a performer like him in my lifetime again. One of the happiest days of my life. Thank you Michael, you truly were a gifted soul to have ever graced this planet. Xxx Fun fact: my 9 year old niece asked me the other day “aunty, do you know who Michael Jackson is?” I was like “WHATTT, do I know who Michael Jackson is”. Like NEVER… and showed her this video! She spotted me instantly and shockingly screamed “AUNTY MICSHOLLA… YOU’RE ON YOUUUUTUBEEE”. Lol, nevermind the fact that I was at a concert performed by one of the biggest superstar on the planet at the time 🤣 bless her!!!
