- "The Way You Make Me Feel" is a song written by the late American singer-songwriter Michael Jackson and recorded for his seventh album Bad (1987). Produced by Jackson and Quincy Jones, it was released as the album's third single in 1987 and became another number-one hit from the album on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. It was performed a few times on Jackson's tours and was most famously performed live at the 1988 Grammy Awards.
At Michael Jackson's 30th anniversary concert at Madison Square Garden (2001), he performed "The Way You Make Me Feel" with Britney Spears for the second show. However, her appearance not shown in the version broadcast on CBS, replacing it with footage with a dancer from the first show.
Michael wrote The Way You Make Me Feel in response to his mother, Katherine's request for a song with a shuffling kind of rhythm."

I'm 57 and I truly believe that we will never see an entertainer like Micael Jackson again. I also believe that Britney is a great entertainer as well, but her family has affected her ability's to be much more. Dam it's a shame that she had to go through what she has. I hope the very best for her from this day forward.

he & my grandpa had the same birthday. they were both from Indiana too. actually he was from wyoming & moved here. i didnt know till i saw the memorial cards at his viewing. he died three years ago from covid. i still miss him & always will. he was the most religious guy i knew. he had a rosary on his rear view mirror, a jesus license plate, a statue of mary on his porch, a plaque of the our father in his living room, a church music box with a priest that plays amazing grace & a picture of jesus in his room with a crucifix with a palm right next 2 it. he went 2 a chapel every thursday & 2 church every sunday. his nurse was with him when he died. they prayed the rosary 2gether & he went peacefully. i have 7 aunts & uncles & he always said grace b4 we ate on holidays. now we take turns saying it & my uncle just did on thanksgiving. when i said my prayers that night i asked god 2 give him the warmest welcome He possibly could 2 heaven & He definitely did. i bet he was ecstatic 2 meet Him, cried his eyes out & gave Him the biggest hug ever. theyre prolly playing a show, moonwalking, doing the breakdown at 4:30 or the thriller breakdown right now. r.i.p. grandpa & michael :( i love & miss u guys soooo much :’(

I love how Michael was trying not to overwhelm Britney's voice, like singing much lower so you could actually hear her because otherwise it would've sounded like there was someone whispering the chorus while Michael was singing it, lol. A King.

One of the greatest entertainers, sure. Talented beyond many. But to say he was a terrific singer is a bit of a stretch. And actor? Really? Don't get me wrong. He was one of my favs, but there are tons of "pure singer voices" that Michael could not touch.

We need real music back! MJ was the best and his music had amazing messages (They Don't Care About Us, Heal The World, Man In The Mirror, You Are Not Alone, Earth Song, and MAAANY many more). I miss music and how it used to be. We need soul, R&B, and real Pop back. Nowadays we have Anaconda which is all about butts and the lyrics make NO sense at all. It's all about butts, boobs, and looks these days. It's pretty sad. We are being brainwashed by all those "love songs" which have no meaning in them and it's just sad. I just wish more people appreciated Michael. He had such a kind, pure, innocent soul and heart and voice. I just love him so much. I wish he knew how gorgeous, beautiful and cute he was. And how much his music and voice changed a lot of people. His lyrics were powerful. Take a look outside. MJ was right... "What have we done to the world."

I thought Britney did well with this performance. I'm a huge of them both. Michael was happy to perform with her and Britney was honored to share the stage with him, especially since he's one of her inspirations. Some of you may not agree and say that Britney ruined it or whatever. But, that's just her style of singing. Her voice is a more soft and mellow type, while Michael's was loud and strong. I don't know about you guys but this is one of my favorite performances EVER. I love them both so much. :)
