To increase speed use gear box (low speed to high), i think 777 dc motor take 24 v to run, but if use gear box high rpm you can reach Note- in gear box we can take multiple out put , so you can connect two threadmill motor and you will get more current
Small dc motor can't run for long time run, heating issue will not come , so I think use gearbox to increase speed Gearbox+ dc motor low speed== high rpm
I would ditch that little dc motor... put a 8" samsung drum motor or 11" and try this. You need a driver but you'll yield 85-90% efficiency on BLDC vs these
