    Good catch - I forgot it and had to run it back through to the master cylinder.

    Getting me through the summer project! Nice! What happened to the "low brake fluid sensor"?

    Wire tucks do look good. You're really covering a lot of steps, so I'm sure it will help some people

      Thanks! The wire tuck definitely has made a huge difference. I go to UA-cam before I do any project and then make a video with the info I wish I had found! And from the comments in a lot of my vids this seems to be working. 😉

    Forget about the wire tuck! I love how you're rebuilding or restoring it back to all stock! Most people end up engine swapping or modding it like crazy.

      Thanks! I am going to put an explorer intake on there, but still keeping it a 302. 😬

      @@Foxedup those are like almost the stock if not the stock Foxbodys intake manifold. Just for some reason they put it on an explorer, which is interesting😅

    Great video and very informative, this is a project I hope to work on in the near future. I did a couple of complete wiring installations on big bikes, soldering and running every single wire on the bike myself so this should be easy in comparison. I always wondered why the engine panels look like swiss cheese, so many holes. All I can guess is that Ford mounted different items in different locations since there has been so many engine options from 1979 - 1993 with all of the various accessories. They kept adding new holes rather than find a way to use the existing ones, and never considered removing holes that they stopped using in 1980 for example. My understanding is these sheet metal parts are stamped/pressed/bent in to shape, but I don't think they would come with 100+ holes drilled in to them already. Otherwise they would have to make a brand new sheet metal form every time a new hole was added. Does that mean a machine drilled all of the holes, despite the fact only 10+ were actually used on each side?

      Yep - they just kept adding hole with each model change and never removed any from the tooling.

    Looks real good. What type of paint did you use on the frame and bay?

    Did you have to extend any wiring?

      I don’t think so on this side.

    Curious if your still running the inner fender splash guard running the wire tuck through there?

    • @Foxedup
      @Foxedup  2 роки тому +1

      Yes I still have the splash guard. There’s one section of wire that runs between the frame rail and the splash guard.

      @@Foxedup is thanks for the reply. Good idea to put it back in if possible to be on the safe side in case one gets caught in the rain
