Heyo. Man that lifetime plan with all languages access is really nice. If I had to choose between all apps mentioned so far I think I would go for Rocket Chinese. That being said I am very impressed with ChineseForUs. It has tests, grammer, a lot of fokus on writing and reading and speaking of course. It even has paths to get up to HSK3 fluency with tests. I'm looking forward to see the babble review for Mandarin Chinese. I've always found your Rocket and Babble reviews to be more my style.

Thanks! I want to learn a new language because my 13 year old son wants to learn one.
I was using rocket for awhile and totally loved it. I recommend it to people a lot. Just don’t like how it’s expensive.
