The Congress of Vienna (World History for UPSC Mains Examination)

The Congress of Vienna was conducted to establish peace and stability in post Napoleonic era. There was strong sentiment in support of conservatism and revival of monarchy at the Congress of Vienna in 1815. However, it was not able to satisfy the need of self rule caused by rise of Nationalism at that point in Europe.
