Thanks for the videos. I sold my farm a year and a half ago and I still farm virtually every day watching you. I know that this comment is not really my business but it is late August so change the snow scene opening. Keep it coming young man. You guys are amazing farmers. Blessings to you all!
@@gregjames5070Clowns?🤔 It’s easy to understand the rationale. They’re crop farmers, i.e. they grow things from Spring --> Autumn. Ain’t got no time for snow…. ⛄️
Great job boys!!! BS you go get those bugs!! I think the cleaning up and updating of the shop(your work space and the place where people come to meet with y’all) is amazing and shows pride in your company and yourself‼️‼️
It's pretty good. Some grandparents really set them up for a fun way of living. It's too bad the government has to get involved with all the subsidies though that's insane.
Boys please do not question Dougo's rational about saving something!! Someday I hope the new generations will keep some history as dad is!! Without the history of the good equipment saved by Doug we would have nothing.
Would love to hear any stories your grandparents have about that old barn. Big Swede is right - it probably has to come down (or will in a few winters) - but I'm sure it has seen a lot in its time.
it is awesome the technology that is in your mind Eric that helps run the farms you are part of we are all amazed at all it takes to keep a farm working in today's world thank you for your part in all these videos be safe keep up the good work god bless
Use that balzar tanker for spraying we used to use our we cleand it from manure stones and residue and fill it with water from hydrant and presurize it
Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable. Eric spray those grass hoppers quick. They can destroy a lot of plants. Thanks. You guys enjoy the dirt track race. Should be fun. Nice to have extra cold storage sheds to put stuff. Good deal. The old shop is looking good all cleaned up. Good job guys. Thanks for everything Larsons. Take care and be safe. The Iowa Farm Boy.
I enjoy watching you guys. You guys All are a lot of fun to watch. I also grew up on 100 year plus family farm. My career took me elsewhere. But when my father passed away. Rest of kids wanted the money. I bought them out. I still to this day still own it 22 years later.I just rent the land out. I came across your buddy Zacks channel and enjoyed watching it. Which UA-cam suggested others you might like which is yours and few others. I tried the others. I just couldn't get into them. Thanks for the videos. No bash against Zach. But once he hit his million he kinda left us 😞. Let him know we miss his videos and there is room for improvement 🙂
We get rain every week. The last rain was 4 days ago and we got 2 inches. It usually rains about an inch. We didn't lose anything on our crops. Our corn should be 300 bushel and our beans at least 120 bushel an acre.
do you change the concaves for each of the corn/soy/edibles ? what filters down the size of the "seed" that ends up being kept in that whole threshing operation ?
Tired of it sitting in the sun, I left a tractor outside for 3 days to wash it and kept getting side tracked, my grandson comes down “So Gramps are we just leaving them sit out now?” Im pretty sure I know where he’s heard that before
The video is 15 min long and posted 4 minutes ago. Have no opinion on the video because I can't have watched it all. But as far as Lawson Farms? Great channel!
Y’all need to sell that manure spreader before it’s not worth selling because unless you washed her out she is just rusting away inside. Anyway love the content absolutely love the channel. To be honest I think I liked it better before broody but he is ok. Just liked seeing you in the sprayer and planter and combine.
If you were to take the cost of herbicide/pesticide into factor (which farmers/agronomists have obviously) what is the percentage in profit difference between not spraying at all and spraying? Not spraying also yields it as "organic". Long story short, if you were to not buy chemicals and let it grow as it may vs spraying what percent more of a yield is gained?
Most farmers use action thresholds to decide when and if to spray. Have to see x number of bugs or x amount of damage to justify the spray application. That what Chet was referring to about whether or not they were going to do fungicide on soybeans
I have a question. If you are using the same tillage lines throughout all the tractors what happens if you have different width diggers? Can the program adjust so the fist pass stays inside the field boundaries or push out to the edge so it's not missing a couple of rows or to you have to manually nudge it over? The goal would be so all the equipment runs in the same direction regardless of the width and still fit inside the field boundary yes?
From my experience running tillage on our farm, the lines are more so just the heading you want the tractor to go. You just tell it that you want to go this way or that way and it adjusts the spacing of the other lines it generates based off of the implement width you set. I've never actually set a field boundary cause we aren't that fancy but I believe when you set the boundary, that it just tells the computer that that line is as far as you want the outside edge of any given implement to go
I was just wondering if you can please change the intro since it is already middle of summer and you still have the winter intro. I would also like to see all the yard improvements that you guys have done this summer.
Farm Progress Show. I think BS needs a new toy. Go find Welker's Farm's Big Brute sprayer! I wonder how long it would take for this system to pay for itself on your farm? Hmmm?
Hey! There’s Uncle Big Swede!

Turn left at the Watson Hunting lodge on hwu 7. that's where my aunt lives.

Always wonder what that old white building is @13:33 - there is reason you keep it standing? (first animal shed)
I think they lease that property.
G00d luck with the racing 😊
Your pine tree behind the shed looks like it is falling over. 7:56
Ènjoyed watching the video CHET 😊
the baldor honey wagon is what you need to clean your grain pit
You need a Burn Barrel for the cockleburrs and other noxious weeds. Safely dispose of them.
We need to get the Larson crew in on a freedom 500 race
You need to unhook the backup beeper on the forklift 😂
Great video! Bunch of funny men 🤣
You guys sure have a lot of laughs!
Whens it 105-112 snow n ice looks good
Good weather to watch some old Ice Road Truckers episodes.
Very true no rain cannot even grow weeds
Love the videos keep up the great work
Great Banter 😊. Happy subscriber 😊!
Hey Brodie. Horn blows. Does the driver?😮 😂😂
LMAO "running on his back legs"
Hey Like The Big Swede Stache!!
Brodi is he man.
Looks like a John Deere 14T in the shed... Maybe it is a 24T. No matter, that's an antique we still use today!!.
Magnifique tracteur et les matériel 😮😊
thank you
You guys are great!
Awesome video guys. 🚜🚜🚜
relocating to another pile, thats one way to describe it
Douggo is going to need that small square baler to bale the grass clippings from his newly seeded lawn.
That feed grinder has not been used in many years and probably works perfectly.
You do know that liquid manure spreader is worth some good money if it works good
Should look into selling it maybe get Doug’s ram fixed 😎
Enjoy the race!
Great video
do you change the concaves for each of the corn/soy/edibles ? what filters down the size of the "seed" that ends up being kept in that whole threshing operation ?
Are you going to watch Zach Johnson? Between The Rows
Tired of it sitting in the sun, I left a tractor outside for 3 days to wash it and kept getting side tracked, my grandson comes down “So Gramps are we just leaving them sit out now?” Im pretty sure I know where he’s heard that before
I want to know where to buy those magical chains that you guys always use to tie stuff down
Banding sketchy high bay pallet loads is worth the effort for as infrquently as you have moved that stored material.

Makes no sense
Nice.
Haha😂 good video always fun to watch
You ain’t chet, should do a golf round off scene and show what you guys got
Awesome Video👍
Great video as always!
Never a dull moment.
Large dumpster might be in order.
Are we thinking about getting back in the hog business. Lots of good machines setting idle. 😢
Just a few acres would love that old new holland manure spreader if thats what it is
Three boys and one man, poor Dougo
🇺🇸 Larson Farm’n
😎
What chemical do you use on the grasshoppers?
New glasses Chet ???
30 Acres. About what does it cost for equipment and chemicals? How long?
HA! He made you say guano😊 bipedal squirrels what's this world coming to😅
When spraying for grasshoppers why not try some soybean foliars to see if any results??
Maybe you should take the manure spreader, go get a load and fertilize Douggo's new grass! Lol
Anyone know what brand / style sunglasses the Big Suede has on?
I don't think Loopers and/or Diamondbacks do beans. But if they're skinnier, could they be Cloverworms?
Remember dirt is for racing asphalt is for getting there!
Good job seed just wondering how many acres do u have ? Keep up the good videos god bless u guys 🙏🏻
You are like 3 little kids there trying to sneak up on poor Dougo!
Brodie is going to replace the Impala with a 1987 Yugo 🤣

Been sitting there with th feed grinder for 15 years.
I wonder how Larson’s have made it this long successfully without you telling them what they need to do?
If you were to take the cost of herbicide/pesticide into factor (which farmers/agronomists have obviously) what is the percentage in profit difference between not spraying at all and spraying? They are GMO beans never will be organic.
@@beckyumphrey2626 You know what I meant. Conventional vs organic.
@pmccoy8924 to be certified organic, it has to be 3 years with no synthetic fertilizer or chemicals!
Most farmers use action thresholds to decide when and if to spray. Have to see x number of bugs or x amount of damage to justify the spray application. That what Chet was referring to about whether or not they were going to do fungicide on soybeans
You should redo the intro drone part with everything planted and green
Drone fuel is at $15 a gallon. Don't blame em for not redoing.
Just wait a couple months and it will be back in season 😂
You guys alots of laughs 😅😅😅😅😅😅

Those rolls of drainage tile needs to be in storage, out of the sun unless you're planning on using them this season ! Sun is the enemy !
You should go up and watch your buddy zach johnson race sometime.
The Big Swede did NOT check the OIL !!
Every time Big Swede !!
I hope you record at the race, it must be Zack racing.
Is Chet chewing lol
What dirt race you going to
I agree
Big Swede is starting to be a bad influence on Brody! Time for a meeting with HR.
So you about due for an x9 to replace Air Force 1.
who are all the other people in the shop?
