    Currently using the 7HZ Timeless which recently replaced the Mangird Tea as my daily driver. Both are excellent IEM's that hit WAY above their price bracket. Been looking at the Tin T3 Plus to add to my collection recently, which brought me here. Keep up the good work!

    My current favourite IEM is the OH10, I use them on the go and have been considering the T3+ as I love the design and have seen a ton of great reviews describing that they are one of the best budget IEMs to buy now.

      The OH10 is great and better than the T3+ IMO, but good luck in the draw - perhaps you'll get to find out for yourself!

    Under $80...should include the Heart Mirror. Below $100, the Olina. Below $150, the Shuoer S12.
    Current Collection: S12, Olina, T3+, HeartMirror, TKZK Wave, Lea, KZ CRN, BLON BL03, CCA NRA, CCA CRA.
    EQ/Mods:
    S12- incredible and tops when EQ'd for bass.
    Olina-added an extra OEM filter to nozzle to bring the brightness down a little. Perfection.
    Heart Mirror-Y4/2.5mm filter over vent closest to nozzle brings up the bass and balances this beautiful IEM, which performs well above its price point in sound and build.
    TKZK Wave - used aftermarket tips with smaller bore size in order to take the treble down, probably due to BA in wide bore nozzle with metal mesh screen. Mod really did the job here for me. Love the looks, comfort of this unsung hero, at only $35.
    For $12 (discounted)...I find the CCA CRA excellent value with exceptional extension. Lea is OK at $24 with solid build quality, though I did carefully apply J-B Weld (epoxy) around the metal case hole for the plastic QDC connectors, as one began to wiggle after 1 weeks use (fix did the job without affecting performance).
    I do like the T3+ as a good all-around performer at only $68. At $20, still cannot go wrong with the BLON BL03..fitment is the issue here so I use good foam tips.

    T3 sounds interesting, the originals were treble cannons no? They did have that lovely, flowing stock cable though. T2 feels like lighting in a bottle for the Tin brand. I'd be happy with the same IEM with improved ergonomics and a cable that doesn't double as garrote wire.
    I'm between the 7hz Timeless and Senny IE 300 for my favorite IEM. Knife to my throat I think I'd go with the IE 300. But third place would probably go to the Tin T2 for me. Very chill, very pleasant, extremely inoffensive. It's like a very accommodating waiter or waitress if people still remember restaurants.

    • @PassionforSound

      I've heard that the original T3 were treble cannons so this is quite the departure!
      So true about the T2 wire! 😂
      I'm surprised that the IE300 has edged out the Timeless - that's impressive!

    My son loves the CCA CSN - purchased those on Amazon based on yours and the Cheap Audio Man recommendations. When I want to listen to music, I use Meze over-ear 99's or HarmonicDyne Poseidon's, as I have not found equivalent sound signature from IEMs yet. Would love to try the T3+!

      Same. I have paired my T3+ [using QDC to 2-pin (0.78mm) adapters from AliExpress (US$11)] to a set of the KZAZ09 Pro's ($26, discounted on AliEx) for BT5.2 wireless sound (AptX/AptxLL/AAC/SBC, CVC, TWS+, Ipx4, QCC3040 chipset) and they are daily drivers for both home & work offices. They have been my mainstay IEM's for a few months now. Let's see if they get supplanted by either the Olina's or the Shuoer S12's, which should arrive within the next week or two! For only $68 (AliEx), I am completely satisfied with the T3+'s performance, given my use case/music genre. With the AZ09 Pro's, both decent call quality and excellent battery life (8 hours-earhooks/42 hours-case)!
      PS: I am able to get AptX codec from PC using the FiiO BTA30Pro ($116), which TX/delivers LDAC/AptXHD/AptxLL/Aptx/AAC/SBC via USB-A to USB-C for both power/signal. For LDAC, I switch up to BTR5 with cabled T3+.

I almost always prefer a good speaker system but i also like the convenience and portability of headphones and IEMs. I have the KZ ZS10Pro an it's been good so far. I also have my eyes on the U12T. The timeless is good but for a quarter of the price the T3 plus is a better value IMO. It is great for all genres of music, movies and streaming. The timeless is way more resolving. However it is also unforgiving if your source is not of very good quality, you will hear all the imperfections which means for general use the T3 plus is better and will be my new recommendation for anyone getting into the hobby or for someone just looking for a one and done set of budget IEMs.

    The best thing that you can do to the T3 Plus is to replace its cable with an all copper one. An OFC cable will tame the treble a bit & an OCC monocrystalline Litz cable will do even better! They will also improve the soundstage.

    I’ve had the T2 evo for a few months now. But I’ve been considering the T3+ as most reviews are very positive. It seems TinHifi have accidentally created a new budget iem king. Only other iem I’m dying to try but haven’t yet…is the IKKO OH10.

    • @PassionforSound
      @PassionforSound  2 роки тому +1

      The OH10 is brilliant and definitely worth the extra over the T3+ but both are excellent

    • @conroyscott2206
      @conroyscott2206 2 роки тому +1

      The extra cost is warranted over the T3+ yes, but the sound signature is so similiar. T3+ has slightly less bass (according to my ears) and on vocals it seems the T3+ is slightly better, i.e vocals (again, to my ears) are recessed just enough to make it seem a bit more spacious than the OH10. Just a pity I haven’t been able to afford or find either the OH10 or T3+ plus in South Africa. And when you do, they’re seriously overpriced.

    • @conroyscott2206
      @conroyscott2206 2 роки тому +1

      I also think that imaging and separation on the T3+ is on par with IEM’s that cost upwards of $150. As is the detail retrieval and clarity. Again this is all according to my ears, but as an opera singer and double bassist in a professional orchestra, I have to trust my ears. And these are all factors I listen for whilst at work or when listening to music. And I have to say, at this price point…it’s gonna be extremely hard to find another pair that competes with the T3+

      All you need to do is comment with what you're currently using for your IEM and then cross your fingers. I use a random number generator to select winners.
