If you scroll through UA-cam, this is the only lesson that sounds EXACTLY like the studio recording. The lesson is taught well & the guy knows his stuff, plus is so chill, thank you for making us better musicians.

Some lessons I want to play what they are but personally the best ones are those you want to 'sound' like.
Also the Taylor is a beautiful sound ❤️

I just arrived here, two years after you comment, and thought exactly the same thing. The best lesson that I've seen for this song. The teaching style and approachability is the key here for me and it's in the other tutorials for other songs as well.

BEST GUITAR LESSON I"VE EVER TAKEN!!! Seriously I've been playing this song incorrectly for -YEARS- and I'm self taught so it's hard to break those old habbits. But when you're shown concisely what makes the song sound right... and you're not bogged down with the normal cadence of explain > play > explain > theory > repeat >. You're picking up how the song is played and it's sounding =RIGHT= immediately. I love it. Thank you so much.

For 1st ten years I played it in the wrong key. For the last 10 years I did an extra C note off the D, which made it sound like Midnight Rider by Allman Bros. Also I didn't so the sweet bass walk down via the G/B chord. WORLD of difference, I'm damn near embarrassed at myself. Lol. Thanks Shane!!!!!
