I got my braids done with curly hair added and the curls got tangled off rip. Then I remembered, you gotta comb yo weave. So I gently and slowly comb the curls every night before bed, and flex roller the hair. In the morning when I would take the rollers out, they looked brand new.
As a stylist my advice with french curls bundles you have to soak them in warm water combined with Tresseme or Pantene conditioner for 2min. The conditioner water reveals all the curls to their full potential unless it's a cheaper brand.. After 2min soak you comb the curls from the ends going up then you can start braiding with the wet bundles,if it's too silky you can start with a small strand of hairpiece in the same colour
Thank you for a complete and honest video. That was refreshing. I was thinking about this hair now I am questioning it usually I see these videos and run out and buy the hair no questions asked til I run across these problems and think it’s just me so thank you for truth and honesty. Most of theses videos be like everything is perfect and great
Wow so glad I found this, been seeing this style around and loved the look so was considering it for my summer style. My colorist warned me they’d be high maintenance and after seeing this I will be sticking with spring or passion twists. Thank you!
Taking mine out now and had to look up tutorials on how to use this hair......after one night it matted up so I have to learn more about it before reinstalling
I really appreciate this video girl!! Bought the hair a while back and my daughter will be installing it. She's a great braider and have never done these before so I will be sending this video to her so she knows what she's getting in to 😅
You are stunning! Would you consider doing knotless with traditional hair and adding the French curl hair towards the ends? Thank you for your videos you have taught me so much!
The solution to the unraveling braids When you plait to the particular spot you want to stop just take a strands of braids from that spot you stopped braiding then tie it 3 times That's all! No faults in the braids Just need to be tight that's all.
I have fine hair so the problem i had was my real hair kept fuzzing and frizzing out of the dang braids 😿 my braids were super cuteeee but it didn't last long. Im sad cuz I loved the look and got sooo many compliments ❤
I was considering getting this later in the year.. but my cousin was installing this weekend and she had the same headaches. Thank you for your review cause girl this will not be a DIY for me 😂
I really want to try this style. I prefer regular box braids over knotless already but i assumed this style was just kankelon with French curl at the ends so now idk
Thank you for this video sis. I was deciding if I wanted to go to the trouble and you've shown me the light lol. I'll be sticking with my regular degular kanekalon
I feared this issue! My daughter wants it and I am like this is going to be a mess! You just proved me right! Thank you so much for talking about the truth of this style!
I wonder if the install method would be easier if the crochet method was used, i plan to do french curls in a few weeks and will try to do them much smaller w the crochet method as an experiment
Sis baby i brought some French crul for $13.99 here in miami at the beauty supply store near my house it's By Cherish gwarll i wish i could drop a picture its Bomb
Make sure you watch Part 1 to see how I installed these French curl braids ua-cam.com/video/3HtnfTPfKBo/v-deo.html
Thanks for keeping it real sis 😊.

smaller braids, nail glue, and recurling with dipping helps!
Use nail glue to keep ends from unraveling 😉 it's cayuute though
What's cayuut

good idea, thank you!
Do u put the nail glue on the knots? Or the length of the curl itself?

Do u have advice on how to maintain the hair?

Had exactly same issue, and everything you said was 100% true. I also thought it 's not a good idea to do it knotless.
French curl I find is better in micro braids and sleep with it in a bun plus use castor oil for detangling. And it should last a month👍🏾
I'm about to get a darker color installed so hopefully the tangled ends are less noticeable😵💫

Thanks for the video; this is just what I was looking for: Issa no for me. 😂
The way my nerves are set up?? Bayyyybeh!!

Thank you so much and this is a genius idea 🤯 I would definitely do that! Thank you SO much for taking the time to watch!

I tied 4 times in the video!

It's SUCH a cute look but I understand the frizziness. Did you do them small? I feel like smaller braids don't frizz as much
@@jaichanellie I did them medium but he right 👍🏿 I do feel like it would be better small ❤️
@queennunies1642 not small braids but less hair

French curl hair by Bobbi Boss tangled soooo bad when I tried to separate it for braiding . I had to throw it away it was horrid
I wonder if the install method would be easier if the crochet method was used, i plan to do french curls in a few weeks and will try to do them much smaller w the crochet method as an experiment
I think your hair still looks pretty:) How long did the hair last?
Thank you so much! I wore these braids for 3-4 weeks
Quick question: Would it be a good idea to go swimming with this hairstyle or would it just get matted?
Your hair will definitely frizz afterwards, especially since the braiding hair is so silky! I personally wouldn't
lol don't do it. It gets matted and dull
Sis baby i brought some French crul for $13.99 here in miami at the beauty supply store near my house it's By Cherish gwarll i wish i could drop a picture its Bomb
Hi I have a question can u blend the French curls like normal expressions or do I have to buy it pre mixed
Some1 plait me with one pack of french curl braid she was mixing with Brazilian wool
I'll have to look up Brazilian wool, is it basically the same concept as yarn braids?
How can I add extra extension to my French curls to make it lengthy
Hi do you spray anything on your braids to keep them from frizzing?
Nope I didn’t do anything that wasn’t mentioned in my videos!
I loooveesds this😂
Tangled, matted, tangled, matted😂 I'm dying
Do I need 2 packs or u think one pack of 8 is good enough for traditional?
You definitely need 2 packs
Maybe it's me but I think french curls look cheap. I prefer a tighter curl. Again people, this is MY opinion
Try a wig brush
I wonder if you can do this with human hair? 🤔
Idk of a human hair texture that has this curl
Yes you can.
4:01 ur nails are cute af. No its not u ,its the sliky hair 😫 i seal it with super glue on the ends
Thank youuuuu, I DIY'd the nails too lol. I'd definitely do nail glue or something if i did these again
Yeah, I'm only getting these with human hair next time
A slip knot is gonna do exactly that…slip. Lmfao but despite the challenges you did a very good job considering it was all you on yourself.
This made me crack up 😂😂😂 thank you so much!!!
