Hi hope you found the answer but if you haven't, knotless are the ones were they start braiding with your hair and they feed the hairpiece in slowly, it's not so tight on the scalp and not heavy on your hair. Normal braids are the ones were you take the whole amount of hair you'll be braiding with and make a knot, it's all in the name actually. Hope this helps.

They were light
I used moisturiser to keep my curls and it worked ... i didn't have mousse

Whole braid otherwise the braids would be too thin and the curls would be extremely long
