RIAT 2023 Arrivals Day | Thursday

The highlights of the RIAT arrivals from Thursday 13th July, featuring a very rare Sukhoi Su-22 'Fitter' from the Polish Air Force and a F-4E Phantom II from the Hellenic Air Force. Also very pleased to see a TAV-8B Harrier, the only two-seater Harrier flying in the Italian Navy.

F-4 Phantom was ahead of its time in a lot of ways. Could carry Falcon, Sparrow and Sidewinder missiles, nukes and the rotary cannon for go to guns in dogfights. Some thought it was ugly, but I’m not one of them.
