You almost forget you're playing Generations at this point, it's so dang close to 06. A playable Super blaze in an almost real 06, is neat to see. Looks awesome! I wanted to release this yesterday but UA-cam took over 24 hours to render it, so decided to release this now. I'm off to go play some SAGE games, there probably will be another video this afternoon!

Well, there is not a lot of Sonic games on Pc anyway, Sonic generations probably could be the only one that you can play without emulator and easy to make mods for it, forget about Forces cause not a lot of people like it anyway

This is actually insane how mechanically similar this is to 06 while being in generations. Which kinda brings up a funny point. If I had a nickle for every time someone put in a lot of effort into recreating 06 without all the technical issues and doing an insanely impressive job, i'd have 2 nickles. Which isnt a lot of money, but it's kinda weird that it happened twice.
This is just incredible! Never thought this mod would go so far as too have the hub with mission and NPCs. On a personal level, the world of 06 has always look odd with its realistic humans next to a very stylized cartoon blue hedgehog so i would have change all the NPCs (Elise too) with Variation of the "Rookie/avatar" model from Sonic Forces and maybe some of the NPCs from "Sonic Boom: RoL" so there's more consistency but then again, i'm a big SatAM fan so i might be bias here hahaha!
If they wanted to stick to humans they could also probably use the more stylised design of the Unleashed humans. Maybe someone could make a mod for the mod lol
See how modders able to implement all of these things. It's a matter of time and research till the Werehog got implemented so we can get Unleashed Definitive mod

Should have been? The game isn't out yet. If the game has a fighting system they're definitely going to imitate the spin Dash in some instances in the game. It's a iconic move. And the boost here isn't fast or as visually pleasing as the one we all know.

I really doubt they would listen to the constructive criticisim. The boost from this game is surprisingly even worse than the one from Forces. The best, as everybody knows, has been the one from Gens, which coincidentally also had the best level design out of all boost games. The problems isn't to imitate the spindash. Nobody cares if Sonic spins as an animation. It's an open world Sonic game. It should have been like SA1. Literally am open world physics playground. Push the physics engine to the limit. Sonic shouldn't have had a fixed speed and no momentum. It looks absolutely ridiculous and insulting to go up a hill and climb it back down with a perfectly constant speed. Not only that, when Sonic reaches a sharp peak, he literally gets magnetized to the geometry and it looks so broken it's not even funny. Like, c'mon, you can't defend the absolute lack of physics...

I think Sonics Running animation needs a little touch up. Its funny how his hand are just out like wings instead of dangling behind him "Naruto Run" style.
for some reason mine just launches with 06 model and 06 hud but not the stages, menu, other characters, or anything. Did I install something wrong maybe? lol
i don't get the thing. i thought it's like unleashed project which is ported well.but this is cheap copy of 06 without integrating in generations like designed all in this way?
Vanilla Sonic 06 is inferior to this, I’m sorry but this is the game I imagined it would be. I still do enjoy the OG game tho for what it tried to lead the franchise into.
