Misschien ben je zelfs te goed voor de wereld waarin we tegenwoordig leven, want er lijkt tegenwoordig vooral veel haat te zijn tussen mensen. Al jaren kom ik met veel plezier naar de beurs, en ook deze keer was weer fantastisch. Voor het eerst heb ik veel bezoekers blij kunnen maken met zeer betaalbare deals. Voor mij draait het niet om het geld, maar om de tevredenheid van de verzamelaar en het gevoel dat ze een goede deal hebben gescoord op de gamebeurs. De aandacht die op deze beurs ook grotendeels uitgaat naar de jongere generatie is geweldig en dat is iets wat de beurs echt siert. Mensen die in welke vorm dan ook negatief zijn, moet je weren en geen aandacht schenken. Blijf je visie voor ogen houden en laat je niet van je pad brengen. Bedankt voor deze fantastische dag, Gerry! Laatste keer dat ik naar de beurs ging waren de prijzen belachelijk hoog vergeleken met marktwaarde. Ben uiteindelijk naar huis gegaan zonder games. Vinden de beurzen in Zwolle en Tilburg wel altijd leuk maar constant dezelfde verkopers met overpriced games begint irritant te worden.
Als je zo groot bent zie je idd dezelfde verkopers maar ook vele nieuwe hoor...verbaast mij enorm dat de nieuwkomers groter wordt steeds....ik doe niks aan inkoop en verkoop maar mochten er problemen zijn van een verkeerd of kapot spel of console dan bemiddel ik
Ja snap ik helemaal alleen nu stond ik er met zeer scherpe deals maar ik ben geen fulltime video game verkoper en dat ben ik ook niet van plan te worden. De verkopers die je hoofdzakelijk ziet hebben dit als fulltime baan en die gebruiken conventies als extra inkomstenkanaal naast hun winkel/website en ik geef ze groot gelijk. Mogen de deals beter? Ja soms wel maar in een land als dit met tachtig miljoen regeltjes wordt het je vaak wel heel lastig gemaakt 🤷🏻♂️
Is wel leuk om bij zo'n beurs te zijn. Nu zijn er ook nog betaalbare stands zoals die van DGH want die gamebeurzen hebben over het algemeen een naam prijzig te zijn. Gr retrohoeknoord

I personally have an excel file which helps me keep track of all my inventory, the price I pay and how much I profit. For multiples I have a small note in the case with a number written on it. This system might be useful for you too if you continue to sell at conventions

As a collector myself, I sometimes switch from visitor/buyer on a convention like this to reseller. It's a perfect spot to sell off double items or items that I just don't want anymore. Regarding the prices; that is probably one of the biggest 'issues'. You see, when you sell stuff way under 'marketvalue', other resellers will buy it directly, jack up the price and sell it for way more in their own booth (or on the internet). That Pikachu N64 is a good example; in good condition, its goes for 250+ and at some booths even above 300 euro. I'm pretty sure that guy will resell it. However, if you are happy with the 180 euros, who am I to lecture you eh? :) What I also really dislike about some of the resellers is that they simply do not list a price on any of their items. So when you ask what they want for it, they just make something up or check pricecharting. The best booths, in my opinion, are those that clearly state their price, present the items in a clear way and, of course, ask a fair price. What is a fair price you say? Most of the time it's near the pricecharting price or slightly under it. If it's a rare game you don't see often, I accept a price slightly above pricecharting. Condition also matters of course.

It's an excellent opportunity to offload duplicates or items that no longer fit your collection. Regarding pricing, it's indeed a major issue. If you price your items too low, other resellers will often snap them up, only to resell them at a higher price, like the Pikachu N64 example you mentioned. While it might be frustrating to see someone resell it for a much higher price, i'm content with the 180 euros, since I have another one complete in the box and I earned back my money on this one. I think this is a perfect situation that suits into this project. I also share your frustration with resellers who don't list prices. I dont give discounts to resellers that early on wanted items like that pikachu n64. That guy Noud that bought it puts in his stall for way more. Beter give deals to real visitors.

@@DutchGameHunter its hard , i also try to balance it and make sure the good deals are available. I was also there with a stall and a gameshop bought a nes, snes and homecomputer from me with no discount. Means i was to cheap haha

Klopt, niets is minder waar, daarom is de hele insteek van dit project, cool merchandise voor normale bedragen.
