Well done another nice video, the backside of the coin brilliant. The Harp is the heraldic emblem of Ireland. The Harp was first introduced on Irish coinage by Henry V111, the first Harp issue was in 1534, and was on the reverse. In 1928 the Harp adopted for the obverse is the Brian Boru Harp kept in Trinity College Dublin. There is some debate as to whether this is the original Brian Boru Harp. The Decimal 1/2p, 1p, & 2p were designed by Gabriel Hayes, the 1/2p from an adoption of an illumination in the Cathedral in Cologne, the 1p from the book of Kells and the 2p from the second bible of Charles the Bald in the Bibliotheque in Paris. The 20p is of interest as Ireland joined the EMS in 1979 we split from sterling so the 20p was a different size and weight from the UK issue.
We did not adopt the Euro until 2002, but minted from 1996 all dated 2002. This was optional countries with a monarch like Spain dated the Euro coins as year of production this is because if the Monarch died in say 2001, coins dated 2002 could not be issued.

And looks like the 10 pence coin in reduced size almost the same as the Latvian 1 lats coin. They have both images of a salmon.
