I found one for $5 at a thrift store. It work and its loud but it beats doing it by hand. Besides my kids love to help pour in the ingredients. I found it with all the attachments and the manual. Super excited!
Used to make homemade pasta with my grandpa in a Takka machine (CTC is their parent company) all the time, comes out great. Unfortunately they are built with cheap plastic internal gears that wear down over time and you can’t find replacements to fix it, so watch that. Also try a pasta recipe that also uses half semolina flour, best pasta you’ll eat!
You made a couple of mistakes, one being not adding enough water, and the other not soaking the extrusion die in warm water and olive oil. You could hear the motor straining when you switched to extrude, the reason being it's trying to push the too-dry dough through the holes. Notice that some holes didn't even extrude. It made the pasta, but if you do it this way continually you'll destroy the motor.
Going to use mine which I found at Habitat For Humanity Restore for 5.00 to try to make low carb pasta instead of paying a fortune for tiny bags of low carb pasta. Wish me luck!
I bought the same machine for $10. I decided to buy cheap one first and see if I would like to use pasta machine and making pasta at home. It is easier to purchase than do your own pasta but at least you know what's in it. This machine is very loud!
I got mine from a flea market for free. A friend was running the flea market and it was my birthday the day b4. So my oartner and I followed the instructions, from what I understand it was too moist..we actually had to feed the dough thrue the extruder. We will try again. If it should fail again it becomes a very large paper weight.
...there's literally thousands of these units sitting on somebodies kitchen shelf, or garage, or in a storage unit... lol hopefully not in a landfill, like most crap produced nowadays.
SparklyHomesteader me too! I have no idea ho to make it bc I’m also missing the special measuring cup! Please if anyone can help us I’d really appreciate it.

...have someone 3D print new gears for you... lol
@@Texaca I’m not exactly sure how you get or make the specific 3D print patterns for that type of stuff. That wouldn’t be a bad idea though..
Replacement parts can be found on eBay if needed
i just got one at a thrift store today! $10 all new , never used
Just wanted to let you know that my husband super glued the measuring cup. No leaks! And thank you so much.
how many of the red cups of flour did you use, and what size it that cup? 1/2 cup?
you have to soak dies in water and oil, small ones just in oil. comes out better
I have one, they were great! You just have to wear earplugs! Lol
I can't hear anything that you're saying. The machine is so loud.Perhaps you can remake the video?

Spinach pasta is not always easy to find at your local store. Nice to have a machine to make it.
The flour might be too wet.
