What a gorgeous day! I love seeing what the WHW looks like in the summer. We did it in April and it rained hard on us from Balmaha to Rowardennan. But our joy was in full supply, even so. We stomped through the mud laughing and thought of all kinds of bad names for those endless wooden steps! Can't wait for day 3!

Yeah, the weather went south on us after this stage, too. I want to rewalk it in sun.
A day of contrasts and all beautiful.
This was our best day of the West Highland Way. The weather turned bad from this point forward, and I got gradually sick.
