Cort M600 guitar

Demonstrating the versatility of the Cort M600 across a range of styles from rock to blues to jazz, played through a Headstrong Verbrovibe amp. Great Seymour Duncan designed humbucking pickups that can be coil split for single coil tones. Great woods - classic flame maple top on mahogany back and neck with excellent finish and playability. Best guitar of this style for the price. Not the best audio quality since it was recorded with an iPhone built-in mic.

I like that Seymour Duncan designed humbucking pickups that can be coil split for single coil tones. These pickups are the accessible version of the Seymour Duncan Hot Rodded and that's good because they really sound the same.

I'm sure the maple top is at best a very thin veneer. But regardless, it's a nice value for a set-neck short scale guitar. I didn't mean that any sort of negative way. Tasty playing man :) Peace. -dave

Made in 2000-2001? I recommend changing the plastics for attaching pickups to cream ones. Similarly, Gibson's knobs with a silver center look better.

don't forget the amp is also an instrument and contributes greatly to the tone. Players think they only need one amp? heck I use 6 all diff flavors

If you need 6 amps to get the tone you need, its not too good.

Brian May uses 9-12 amps and it sounds pretty good :)

I have many tones and it is very good to have many amps it's up to 15 here in the studio now and the clients love to be able to plug in a 67 Plexi a 61 AC30 or a 58 Fender Twin l, we even have the Marshall 50th Anniversary 1 watt amps that sound killer mic'ed up

Hi Suzanne. Thanks for the comment. The amp is a Headstrong Verbrovibe (replica of a '63 brown Fender Vibroverb) and from memory a Timmy overdrive pedal was used.

It's an early M600 model 2000-2001 with dot markers.

Some models from 2000-2001 are with dots. I have the same guitar and is with dots on fretboard.

According to their website, the 2016 M600 has genuine Abalone, block inlays. Looks very nice! :)
