One thing that came to mind on the subject of the sighting system. Just a thought about flash removal. Design all exterior flash surfaces with a flat bevel from .25 to .38 wide. Let it flash over this bevel on molding. CNC it in one pass back to the designed flat during the same process as hole drilling and other operations. Molded margins look cheap. Period. End paragraph. they folow swiss standards to be purchasable but i havent seen them on brownells europe sadly.
keep up the good work !
It's been brought up in the patreon discord and at least the complete rifles will eventually make it to Brownells Europe. But it will be a bit before Brownells gets there.
I'm not going to do a full-on WWSD build but I am planning to get a lower to try with my BCM lightweight midlength upper and if I like that I might get a lightweight 14.5 P&W midlength upper for a sort of squished/shortened M16A1 inspired build.
Well, I want one. Nice work guys!
Also, would it be possible to buy a non-finished lower? That would make a sick A1 rifle build. Yeah, it's not exactly the same with the fence and whatnot. But, I think it would be an awesome build for that.
That's what I'm thinking about doing, just A2 instead of A1, or some kind of bastard upper.
