I just wrestled a 6 foot something guy and I’m in 7th grade. I was pinned fairly quickly and I want to learn from my mistakes and try to counter the wingspan advantages
This year is harder because I bulked to like 120 and my opponents are tall and also girls are starting to invest more into this sport@@muddingoff-road2971
@@Cackatoolui 5'9 is not out of the ordinary . Id say 5'6 is probably average female and 5'10 average male . Height and dody mass its all over the place some people are taller shorter bulkier etc...
It was a friendly wrestling match between me and my friend. He and I had wrestled twice in the past and I had won both times but he was calling me out now that he’s a little taller and a little heavier, but I still won.
@@lgefoxy1415 wait! Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Whoaaaa! So you mean to tell me that you are 5'8 and was able to beat a 6'7 person in a wrestling match!? 350 Ib at that!????
bladeboytb1 I’m gonna be completely honest with you, I’ve had no practice in wrestling and I don’t even watch wrestling. All of my knowledge of wrestling comes from mma and ufc. I’ve never had the money for classes so I kinda taught myself. When I wrestled him I didn’t do any hits, kicks, or slaps, I just used mainly grappling techniques and I don’t know if it would qualify as wrestling but the first round of our most recent match he won because he got on top of me and was able to lay down.. I can’t do a sit up with 300lbs on me sadly. The round lasted like 2-3 minutes though. In round two I rolled Him over my back and wrapped one of his legs and one of his arms into a triangle and he tapped. The third round I got him by picking him up and falling down with him and landing behind him on our sides and then I wrapped under one leg and over his shoulder and flipped over him and laid down. He couldn’t move and he tapped on the ground because he couldn’t even reach me.

When a tall person could just pick a short person up and throw them down...
Lower centre of gravity can't do that very easily
