Thanks for the video! I just bought the Lowrance HDS Live unit with the 3-in-1 transducer, I also got the Minn Kota Ulterra US2. which transducer would you recommend to use? can both be connected the same time? any advantage of the US2 vs the Lowrance one?
Awesome video, quick question on these units, I got 2 HDS 12 live units from Bass Pro during the Black Friday sale in NOV. Are you aware of any known issues that Lowrance has put out. Neither camera on the units are working and one of them 2D sonar will freeze up. I have heard that they are working on software/firmware update that will fix but I can not find that on any info on lowrance website?
good morning, I would like to know if the sidescan scan takes place clearly even at a depth that goes beyond 30 meters, for example 60 meters, I await news thanks
Side scan will not give clear reading beyond 30 meters, even in deep water. It operates at a high frequency that does not work well at longer distances.
@@AquaLifestyle Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I may need to call them because it gets really warm. Almost hot really. I don't think it can handle heat from the sun and the heat it's putting out itself. It doesn't get warm if the simulation mode is on or if I unhook the transducer.

Is it kind of normal for the head unit to run kind of hot?
These displays can run warm but if it is too hot to the touch you may want to reach out to Lowrance.
