    The Freud in the making as an incomplete assamblage of pieces is the best!

    It seems like for books with the subtitle "capitalism and schizophrenia", both are left out of the discussion frequently...

    Did you get the idea of puppet philosophy theater from the puppet theater in Geology of Morals from A Thousand Plateaus? I love it!

      in part, yes: "To keep the last of the audience from leaving, Challenger imagined a particularly epistemological dialogue of the dead, in puppet theater style..." (TP 46)

    Great video. But i must ask why did you bring their “enemy”(Freud) at the end of it? I think Jung would be more appropriate person for celebration, because his influence on Deleuze is in some way more important, especially Jung’s criticism of Freud.

    • @theoreticalpuppets
      @theoreticalpuppets  2 роки тому +14

      Well taken, but then... Their "enemy" seems to be Oedipus rather than Freud, and Guattari, especially the late Guattari, was pretty much interested in Freud's therapeutic practice, as a counter model to the then dominant style of Lacanian silence...

    • @n_x0r971

      Theoretical Puppets Okay, but isn’t figure of Oedipus crucial to Freudian concept of psychoanalysis? I’m not competent enough to speak of the late Guattari’s writting, but in case of Deleuze i’m pretty sure he didn’t change his opinion about repression of desire in psychoanalytic practice.
