Rating All Jevil's Attacks | Deltarune

- Опубліковано 22 жов 2021
- After countless of times fighting Jevil. I decided to rate every single attack move that Jevil does.
Honestly this boss took me weeks to actually beat.. barely. I dropped out of Deltarune because of this boss but atleast i finally find him easier than used to. Jevil is easily one of the hardest bosses in Undertale/Deltarune franchise. I might do No-Hit on him.
Note : This is my opinion, i find some harder than you might think.
All songs i used in this video is made by Toby Fox.
QnA
Q : Is Jevil harder than Sans?
A : Absolutely not, he is close but not harder than Sans, probably harder than Undyne the Undying atleast for me.
Q : Is Jevil harder than Spamton Neo?
A : Look at the end of the video.
Q : Where can i download Deltarune?
A : deltarune.com
Q : Should i play Undertale before Deltarune?
A : Not really, it doesn't affect the experience. Both are actually very different.
Q : Should i beat him in Genocide or Pacifist?
A : I find Devilsknife to be really usefull especially in Chapter 2. Genocide is the way to go but Pacifist might be easier.

Spamton NEO Rating is Out!!

Oh wow thanks for the 7k views! Also i've seen many people talk about the difficulty ratings, as i said this is my worst Jevil gameplay yet, i was nervous when recording and i don't know why.
Rating changes and fix :
Ring-Around : 5/10 > 4/10
Clubs Chaos Bombs : 7/10 > 6/10
Spade Chaos Bombs : 5/10 > 6/10
1st Carousel : 7/10 > 5/10
2nd Carousel : 8/10 > 9/10
2nd Devilsknife : 9/10 > 8/10
Ring-Around 2 : 6/10 > 5/10
Wait what does the carousel 2nd form change?? (I know I’m late but hope someone respond)
@@marcosrangel2988 carousel 2 has every other wave of guys go the opposite direction.
Are you gonna do more videos
@@marine2oorah4u15 Possibly, I'm currently more focused to edits but I'll try to make more Deltarune contents!
@@shuvi94 ok sweet
"Its attack really easy"
"get 1-2 hits"
"One is the hardest attack"
"no hit"
First time I got to final chaos, didn't get hit.
i think he was nervous when recording
haha, i was a bit nervous while recording. i did a 3 hit jevil off recording tho!
Final chaos won't kill you but you will lose tromendous amount of hp if you get hit (50% of your current hp i think)
For me, Clubs Bomb are easiest attack for me
I feel like the Devilsknife Rain is moreso meant to give you a sense of specticale and fear from you seeing the entire screen become a battlebox for this one attack
I feel the same way. I think those boss attacks (Jevil and that chapter 2 boss) are more to be cinematic then actually hard.
@@masterwolfgaming3436 his name is Spamton >:(((((((((((
I think this is just me personally but I find the all chaos bombs attack easier then spade bomb on its own.I struggle with the Red Devils knife attack more then that one,I also don’t agree with carousel 2,it’s easy to dodge when you know what to do. I agree with most of the others though.
mixed chaos bomb is easily the hardest because rng, movement combined
@@shuvi94 fair,Idk why but I just do it better then certain other ones. Then again it’s really weird,I’ll have those runs where I don’t get hit on it at all and then those runs where I get absolutely destroyed in 1 turn. Other attacks don’t drain my hp like that one does (sorry for the late response btw)
Chaos bomb is so easy, but clover bomb is hell to me for some reason and whenever the Easter egg appears on the carousel I get distracted. Final chaos is super ez tho I don't understand why everyone makes such a big fuss about it.
@@shuvi94 hey uh during the spade spiral attack you can just sit in the middle of two spades and you won't get hit.
@@shuvi94 i like practicing jevil and chaos bomb is one of the easiest, moving up and down plus some thinking makes it really easy, also its free tp if u graze along the diamond attacks
3:18 they are homing, so you can move up and down slowly without getting hit, making that part pretty easy
focus on where jevil teleports really helps
Letting it so he can fire vertically will make this attack hard as fuck
this also works for the three club attack, making it an easy tp farm by holding the x button and nudging your soul along
(i am necroposting every comment sorry)
I have done this battle so many times and each time I think I know how to avoid the attacks I get destroyed in one turn
me too.
I hope we'll get a really hard boss fight in chapter 3 (or 4) cause Spamton is much easier than jevil.
Still, both of them is piece of cake
i rather not have a boss harder than sans tbh
@@itstrueaweeb it's your opinion. But I wanna see a really challenging boss fight.
@@YEG38 yeah i guess me too
true
I guess jevil is easy for some people but he was pretty hard for me to beat. I think jevil was a good difficulty I found him difficult but it didn't take me like 20 hours to beat him or anything. I don't want something super hard because I'm pretty bad at the game and I don't want a fight that's like unbeatable for me but I understand why better players want harder fights.
I absolutely hate the chaos bomb it is very painful to pass especially when it does it over and over after the final chaos
on his first carouseel attack you can stay in one place and just move verticly, i found it easiest for me
You stole my profile pic
The ring around is super easy, just stay in the right top corner space between the spades and they wont hit you
Or just do it how you’re supposed to it’s easy either way
To be more specific...
Every time I see someone try to go around with it, they always get hit. By pressing against the wall of the box and staying between the spades, you won't get hit from either direction, but you still need to move a little between each spiral.
@@anonymousfog501 I always go in a circle, never get hit, and get a lot of tp. You just have to not suck
@@q12aw50 You say that like it matters that you think you're better at the game than everyone else.
Here's a little fun fact for you; it doesn't.
@@anonymousfog501 *:
Still agree with you tho
This video was really fun to watch
Recommend to watch this part at 0.25% speed 4:31
Jevil fight but it’s laggy and the sound and music is terrible
0,5 bit music?
But I like it
4:49 0.25% speed, FNAF REFERENCE????
I yet saw nobody who found a way to make this 2nd spinning attack from 6/10 to 1-2/10
While it appears, I just go to any wall and go between 2 spades in the middle, doesn't matter which. Then I just don't move and it misses me completely
im rating based on experience, most people find it hard the first time. spinning along with the ring gives more tp.
@@MsMissALot jevil no hit already skips chaos bomb or final attack
EXACTLY! IDK WHY NO ONE USES IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@TranAvia_Tranex because it's disrespectful to the jersterman
@@calamaricalamity6757 lol ya
Actually, the ring around attack is very easy, theres a safe spot where you could basically stay there and gain a bit tp without getting hit and its at the bottom left corner, you might have to move out of the spade's way so you dont get hit.
My personal ranking (Ranked on a mix of difficulty and enjoyability)(Also coming from a no-hit Jevil-er):
0:11 Spade Rush - 5/10 - Would be ALOT lower if it wasn't so soul crushing to accidentally get hit by it
0:24 The Ring-Around - 3/10 - Actually pretty easy to master imo, very good attack to graze for easy TP too
0:40 Hearts Bomb - 6/10 - Actually pretty fun attack, I still mess up when trying to go through the cube shape of hearts sometimes
0:54 Devilsknife - 2/10 - Mind bogglingly easy, good way to kill yourself and reset the fight if you messed up a no-hit or something though
1:08 Carousel Game - 5/10 - Extremely easier than it looks, just go up then slightly down when it changes formation
1:24 Clubs Bomb - 9/10 - Like Hearts Bomb, extremely fun and pretty challenging before you get a rhythm to it down
1:39 Diamonds - 4/10 - Similar to Spade Rush in the way it is soul crushing to get hit by it however it's later in so it doesn't matter as much
1:59 Directional Ring-Around - 4/10 - Only slightly higher than normal Ring-Around because the directional changing is weird (Also you're faster?)
2:14 Double Carousel Game - 8/10 - Yo hell naw screw this attack, the up and down movement on this one is so ass. It's hard though, so high ranking
2:31 Spade Bomb - 6/10 - Slightly less than Clubs Bomb because I find it slightly less fun to play around
2:49 Clovers - 5/10 - Doesn't look cool, has potential to be difficult if underestimated, kind of a lame attack given the caliber of Jevil's other attacks though
3:04 Red Devilsknife - 5/10 - I actually quite like this one because it messes up the rhythm that makes Devilsknife easy, however the ranking can only be so high for a Devilsknife attack
3:17 Diamond Rush - 5/10 - Moderately difficult but generally easy-ish. I don't remember being hit by it alot anyway
3:33 Chaos Bomb - 10/10 - HELL YEA THIS ATTACK ROCKS! Not too hard but the most fun attack by far, takes Clubs Bomb and adds cool extra bits to it
3:49 Tired Diamonds - 1/10 - Eh, designed to give you hope you're at the end. Not visually interesting, fun or difficult. But I guess it does it's job?
4:08 Final Chaos - 8/10 - The most visually interesting attack, weird, tiny hitboxes and miniscule damage so it's only really hard if you are trying to no-hit. Not that fun but still cool
4:40 Not an attack, but yo? That actually sounds like circus music or something, that's cool
Final chaos dos percentage based damage, you won't lose a lot of hp when you're low health, but heal after this attack if you got hit. (spincake reccomended)
club bombs 9/10????
Chaps bomb 10/10???
@@pustota7254 What would your ranking be then?
@@FlameFlare club bombs:free tp/10
Chaps bombs:2/10
Him: doesn't get hit from "harder" attacks
Ruddin's attack but Sonic-speed: "Nothing to say about it" except that you got hit.
Jevil can do anything, even put 3D in a 2D game-
Chaos Bomb is one of my favorites. I beat him first-try the first time, but now I can't even get through half of the fight again
I fully agree , EXCEPT the carousel attacks. They are super hard imo and confusing .
Edit: chaos bomb is quite easy once you know how to dodge the different explosions imo
fun fact - for the ring arounds you can just hide in the top-right corner out of the way of the spades and they won't hit you at all. and you get loads of TP
I agree on all of them, but to me, spade bombs are harder than heart bombs and club bombs.
Tip for ring around: go to one of the corners and move slightly when something is going to hit you
just a bit of advice for clubs bombs: if you just tap up and down it becomes his easiest attack. Just keep quickly tapping the up key, be careful turning around, and then do the same thing going down until the attack is over.
That's a really cool video!
I can agree with the most of the stuff (i beated Jevil) but even now i think that Jevil is way harder than Spamton NEO(even on snowgrave )
I mainly agree with this except from diamonds and the final attack. Diamonds for me deserves a 7/10 I just found it really hard to dodge and it annoyed me like mad. And for final attack 9/10 because it can actually hit you a lot and deal a ton of damage.
The Final Chaos is pretty easy to dodge because its not his final attack, it just creates more chaos. (also the entrance to phase 2 Jevil if your tryna spare him)
for the "ring around" attack i usually just chill in the top right corner and move according to where the spade will hit me so i dont get hit its really easy that way
the world revolving: 10/10
banger alert, all that needs to be said
Just gonna say that if you go to the bottom right corner during the spinning spade attack (most of the time) the attacks won't hit you, but if there's one aimed directly at you just move over a tiny bit.
te fact that h only gets critical hits when he attacks is very satysfying
Easiest is ring around cause you can camp in the corner and slightly change your position when a new ring comes
For some reason i forgot to equip stuff for susie so this fight was a pain
For the [DEPLETING] HP jevil fight, I recommend
kris(K) defend(D), Susie(S) atk(A), and fluffy boi(F) D for all rounds.
if tp=100 then K A, S rood buster(R), F D.
If any party member is not in full hp(89/90 counts) then F heal the one with lowest HP percentage.
Healing F is first priority when multiple party members are in an unhealthy state.
When jevil's HP is low, he can be erased all HP or pacified and can still get the devilsknife or the jevilstail.
For the chaos club bombs, I recommend hold down slow movement move vertical bit by bit (don't hold move button), and once you've reached the top/bottom of the battle box (B. B.), do a quick circular movement to change your direction of movement, and repeat this process.
For the chaos hearts bombs, I recommend stay on the top/bottom of the BB, and once two(or more) exploded, move to the opposite side, and repeat this process.
For the chaos spades bombs, I can only say that it's easy. I have no personal recommended methods for this.
For the choas bomb (all), I can only say that you need to have a very chaotic movement, it's hard to me.
For the devilsknife, I recommend using a circular movement, and try to move go to the second devilsknife gap after a few spins.
For the improved version of the devilsknife, I recommend staying in the middle row of the BB while dodging the 4 devilsknifes by moving in a straight line.
For the diamond cutter thingy, I recommend being at the bottom of the BB, personally, it shortens the time between the diamonds summoned and passing by the soul. And it makes it easier to keep an eye with.
For the opening spade attack, I recommend something similar to the choas club bomb, but move in both horizontally and vertically.
For the diamond attack which jevil says "oh, oh, oh", I recommend moving and constantly changing directions, but I don't recommend going close to the edge of the BB, since it will kinda block your movement.
For both carousels, I don't know how to dodge them, if anyone happens to have an idea, plz tell me, I will add it here.
For his "true and neo choas", i can only say that his first part of it is random, but the second part Is fixed, so it's not really hard. Besides, getting hit isn't that bad, it's actually like some phase 1 to phase 2 transition asriel attack, you'll still have HP when the attack finishes, so don't waste your items for this attack.
And I think that's it.
All of these methods are [PERSONALLY] the easiest for me, a dumb kid, so I can't say it's the best method out of all methods.
My the only one who noticed that he got the Everyman Carousel in the 2nd carousel
A final attack doesn't always have to be devastating it just has to have 🌟pizazz🌟
Actually, for the second one there's a safe spot in one of the corners, where you only have to move like once or twice to get through with no hits
The 2nd Carousel is honestly the second most easiest attack for me (right after the 1st carousel)
and after watching your video, most of the attacks you found hard are really easy for me as well!
thing with jevil's final chaos is that it doesn't do a static damage. it does a percentage of your current health so getting hit at max hp does more damage. it's weird
on his clubs bomb, you gotta first go down (do NOT move horizontaly) and then do a tiny up moves and then tiny down moves
do tiny down moves when you reach an end, beacouse theuy are always aiming at your position
Agree with everything except the carousel. The carousel is the 2nd easiest attack to dodge in the first phase since you can cheese the attack by going in the bottom-right corner and moving upwards in sync with the bullets
not for begginers thats why i rate it this high because i struggle with it when i first fought jevil
for ring around you can sit in the gaps of the attack and no hit it with very little effort
By the way, for the Ring-A-Round, if you go to the corner and get in between two spades, you can avoid it entirely.
So this was one of your worse attempts? I get it, Jevil is just a pain sometimes. You might have the attacks down, but since most of them come from random directions each time, there no real strategy to dodging each one, you just have to have good eyes. And be dead tired at 4am on a school night like me most the time I fight Jevil.
the 2nd carousel has the everyman head in it, you can see it here at 2:14
*look at a duck head*
Use pirouette on second turn to lower jevil's defense since it is not random it is always the same pattern
2:14 I have been searching every Jevil fight video for so long ! One of the ducks has a weird face I think it’s an amalgamate right ? Anyway I saw this while my friend was fighting against him but apparently it’s that rare ?
A strat for the Ring-Around Just go toward the first space in the edges of the arena
my strat for jevil is just getting tp and using rude buster (healing with ralsei too if I need to) the rude buster dmg helps a LOT
There’s a strategy for the ring around that makes it infinitely easier, just dodge in between the spades as far to the outside as you can.
IK I USE IT!
I actually have my own method for the ring around, just position yourself in between two of the spades, you will just graze instead of taking a hit
I know this is a year ago but in utpr they added jevil 2 days ago so maybe for the 6 & 7 should be the final attack and one of the heart boxes
Are YOU going to ratę spamtons neo atacks ?
i dont know how to rate him because of the yellow soul mechanic but i did made a new video of me beating spamton

watching this made me want to fight jevil again even though battling him brought me nothing but pain.
Ring around is actually a free one because you can Just stay in the corner and fit in the Little holes and survive easily
I see that you are as much of a Master at attacking as me, can relate è-é

All You have To Do In Ring Around is stay At the Bottom Between 2 Clovers and You'll avoid damage 100% of the time
1:10 Ok I've lost hope of defeating him. So what I'll do is ✨run away✨
Lesson learned: Always get a SpinningCake and a RevivalMint for the fight.
or an inventory full of darkburgers :p
@@shuvi94 True, Seam's darkburgers are cooked to perfection!
Ring around : 10/10 almost no randomness, learn it and you won't ever be in difficulty again against it
Same for devilsknife
2:19 stay at the center so you can retreat. Take the gaps asap. Cross while it's still predictable, and don't wait the last second
2:36 doesn't aim, totally random. Best bet is to watch out for big cluster of shots heading towards you and avoid them
3:08 looks harder than it is. Practice it a little and you'll be good. The only randomness is the side the first red knife comes from. And the 4th red knife won't hit you ever, since the attack ends
3:24 move up slowly, when reaching a ledge, look at where you can cross the bullets without getting hit, go there and move down. Repeat and don't panic. Remember the graze training
3:39 insane. Mix of random and aiming. You need to move up and down all of the time to avoid heart bombs and salvos, while avoiding the spread spades.
3:55 avoid being trapped, because it can happen, and you'll take damage.
4:11 move to the bottom, look up, remember where your soul is. This attacks inflict percent-based damage and shouldn't kill you. But this isn't good. The following attacks hit all of the team, and if you get hit twice during the big one, you lose 70% of your team hp. If you saved the spincake, use it after this attack if you got hit (clubsandwich works if you got hit only once)
I appreciate this guide SO much, thank you.
I beat Snowgrave Spamton Neo easy enough, but I'm STILL struggling with Jevil, so thank you for this.
The Carousel is easier than it looks because the things have undersized hitboxes.
(For those who didn’t know.)
There’s also a very easy method of no-hitting the ring-around:
Just stay near a corner. There are gaps in between the spades, so you can go near a corner to be near the gaps, and only occasionally adjust your position.
Final chaos when we didn't dodged big devilsknifes, we lose an percent of hp…
dear people of the Earth... dodge the Ring-around by going to in-between space that's visible, and wait there. that's how i do it.
Why'd you called "Imagine taking Clover's attack and make it harder" "A Beauty is Joying in my Heart"
Bro, on both spin-arounds you can just go to a corner of the box and move slightly when the attack changes direction
I didn’t know what Hell was like TILL I STARED IN THE EYES OF THE RING AROUND.
in the 2nd carousel in the duck cars you can find the everyman head
I could never get the hang of the Carousel attacks during the Jevil fight, but every other attack was fine
You can cheese both ring-a-rounds by sitting still in the white space between the spades.
I, who passed Jevil on the phone, and in order to dodge the pike carousel, I had to look for a dead zone of attack:
on his ring around attack, i found an OVERPOWERED strategy. you just stay at the holes beetwen spades and nothing will hit you
what's even better is that its not tricky when it moves the other way
the spade bomb is a no hit nightmare.
Every spade is randomized and very quick.
So you evertime you think you can dodge it, another one just pops in front of you.
I absolutely agree that Mixed Chaos Bomb is very hard, possibly the hardest attack.
The 2 devilsknife is actually pretty easy one you understand how to dodge it properly.
3:33 I usually get hit once or twice on this move and I died to this move around 4 times because I only had one party member.
edit : also when I was trying to kill this man near the end of the battle he kept spamming this one move and it was so annoying and then I gave up on the fight because of this move (16 f***ing tries)
The spades and devil knifes get me
The “a beauty is joining in my heart” attack is my worst one
the attack you labeled "A Beauty is Joying in my Heart" is just an attack from Clover
I personally think the Mixed Chaos Bombs is actually easier than Carousel II
i always get hit the first time the devilsknife starts moving, i know which way it'll go
clubs attack and second carousel are like some of the easiest ones what do you mean
the mixed chaos bombs arent hard to dodge too
He got the Everyman easter egg on the ducks. How has no one pointed that out yet?
Alr, here's tips for people wanting to do the fight.
-Easier way is pacifist, as you're either healing, defending or throwing Hypnosis ; damage is almost always reduced.
-Pirouette isn't actually random, it follows a cycle that repeats every 9 turns. 2nd turn decreases defense, 4th increases defense for the turn, 6th heals one person, 9th heals everyone about as much as a Heal Prayer. Count the turns !
-Pick a piece of the broken cake at the Fields and repair it at the blacksmith's place to get the Top Cake, the best healing item by very far : heals the party by 160.
-Try doing small movements on homing attacks to not land into other bullets when avoiding those.
-Each attack comes with a sentence. There are default ones that throw a random attack. ("THESE CURTAINS REALLY ARE ON FIRE !" "A CHAOS, CHAOS !" "THIS BODY CANNOT BE KILLED !" "OH, PLEASE, IT'S JUST A SIMPLE CHAOS." "I CAN DO ANYTHING !")
-Jevil's fight works in phases. He stands still in his 1st, starts dancing on his 2nd, moves very fast on the 3rd, then, near the end, he looks exhausted then throws the final attack. Continuing will cause him to throw attacks he threw earlier, in the harder ones. His damage also increases by a small bit.
lol imo Top Cake is far worse than the Spin Cake, which you get if you return the fixed Top Cake to the Top Chef, and of which you can get a next one after using it. Spin Cake heals 80 hp but to all team members in chapter 1, then it heals more in chapter 2
@@rohan1864 i actually didn't know about that, thx

Seeing how you just casualy do it just makes me dissapointed in my own abilities
Fun fact: you don't need to spin on the circle spade attack, just stay in a corner where there's a hole in the circle and you'll be fine
ik
Ring around is ez if you know how you only have to move before the attack
I agree with most of it, altough avoiding the carousel-1 is REALLY easy, just hug the left wall, and move between 2 ,,horses'', at some point you will be in the bottom corner and you think you should move up, but you don't have to, you won't get hit unless you weren't hugging the wall
as for me there is a lot that is underestimated, and vice versa.
The one at 2:49 is Clover's attack but enhanced.
I didn’t find the club bomb attack and spade bomb that hard, i only had trouble with the hearts
Wait till they realize that you can dodge the encirclement attack by hiding in the corner
I love the full chaos bomb, it's so fucking good, fuck the ring around tho

WHY DOES NO ONE GO TO A CORNER IN THE RING AROUND ATTACK IT MAKES THE ATTACK 100% MORE EASY
It’s “beauty is joy in my heart”
Chaos bomb is mostly easy.
The only time you need to cleverly think about an escape is whenever you see a spade or heart bomb.
the rest is just move up or down.
Heat bomb just concentrate and predict.
and Spade bomb will just screw you over because it's randomized.
