Great video…however I installed the same struts and followed your instructions, but I noticed that installing them on the second nut on the hood the top nut gets in the way of the strut causing the hood to be slightly over the fender when closed. I reinstalled them on the top nut on the hinge, and it opens much further, and there’s not the interference from the top nut and no problems.
That's the proper installation according to the instructions to the kit. This guy half-asses almost everything he does. See his video replacing his steering rack because he used wood on a floorjack to lift the car, and the wood broke and broke his original rack. He still uses wood to lift and support his vehicle.
I am not a brain surgeon..one thing I do is put a towel or blanket in the area where I am working in case I drop the clips ....that way they dont fall into the engine area whete they dissappear forever.
That sounds like a great idea for whatever I am doing...I learn more and more from the comments that you guys write. Thanks for the tip, and thanks for watching.
Aruba plates on the car with a snow blower in the garage? Nice vid. I did this on mine with a different kit a couple of months back. It's a really nice, simple and relatively inexpensive upgrade
Thanks for the input...I edit using headphones and still quite haven't got the audio levels down. This feedback helps me to improve future videos. Thanks as well for watching.

No fear of the hood bending? Great video!
So far, no bending noticed. Not really a necessary upgrade, but one that I appreciate every time I open the lid... thanks for watching.
That black plate is where the hood air bag is located for some countries
Thanks for sharing!
Decent enough tutorial video, but that music level is awful. Knock it down a good bit and it would be far better.😊

@@thereddoorgarage8606 That's interesting. The music itself wasn't that bad, just the level. I liked the vision editing. Keep on keeping on. 👍

UK VIEWER NEW TO YOUR CHANNEL...AT THE VERY END, SEE YOUR CAR IS POSITIONED ONTO WOOD BLOCKS, MAY I ASK WHY AND FOR WHAT REASONS PLEASE?. THANKS.
Not necessary, but I put the car on blocks for winter storage just to raise the car above the salt and moisture from my other car. Overkill really.
@@thereddoorgarage8606 Thanks. Your style is great, no awful music, stupid gestures, straight forward calmly delivered help. Cheers.
