Thanks for the shoutout! It's been 11 years since that Wendy glitch happened. I have no idea what triggered it, unfortunately. It only happened that one time. We were playing multiplayer on a standart WiiU, physical EU version of the game, close to launch, and in the clip my brother said he jumped into her from below, but that's all the info I have... Love your videos! ❤ -thefinegod
11:00 the reason is because in Super Luigi U, the time is always set to 100 seconds. And when you enter a boss door in that game, 100 extra seconds gets added to your time. So when the timer hits 000 and you enter a boss door, 100 seconds gets added before the death sound plays. And when the death sound plays, it causes all music to stop. Which is why the entrance to the boss airship is silent only playing sounds. (at least from what I know of)
Seeing that the timer glitch where it gets stuck at 000 still works is a mystery I never thought I'd see solved. It was talked about in a Ceave Gaming video and was presumed to be patched there, but the fact that it was frame perfect prevented him from pulling it off. Nicely done doing it yourself though!
Thought the same. So now the theoretical lowest score for the game is lower. I'm qnot sure which levels have pipes to actually give a number but it is lower.
3:47 this isn't actually a glitch - this happens because the checkpoint in this level is affected by gravity it's an optional tweak you can apply to it and i think it's used in a few levels this gravity tweak makes the checkpoint stick to any kind of terrain collision (including ice blocks) and fall if there isnt any ground below it

If the devs didn't intend the checkpoint to be able to move with the ground, they wouldn't have programmed gravity into certain ones. This is probably possible with Snake Block Tower's CP too but IDK how you'd set that up.

I’m gonna sound old and stubborn, but I like the NSMB series. The four games are quite distinct from each other and have their own praises. There were only 4 games over 6 years, so really people have been too hard on them. I wish they could’ve done a couple more.

4:29 I don't think that's a glitch. It might be a checkpoint that is actually affected by gravity. Considering it's on top of a moving platform, that makes sense. 9:30 I'm pretty sure it _is_ intended, considering Acorn Plains-Blooper did a similar thing.

tbh i'm quite liking were the series is going recently the new editing style and intro make the series fit in with modern youtube a bit more while not feeling a little forced like the spiderman 2 video, still enjoyed it btw but yk, glitch videos really were a big thing in like 2013-2016 and like 10 years later ig people aren't watching them as much but with how the series is slowly evolving with that change and recent hacking attention it seems pretty promising. keep it up tho been really enjoying the videos recently

8:30 Something like this happened to me once. I spammed Larry with ice while my friend spammed fire. And also before we activated the "super mode" for the touchscreen blocks and another friend spammed him with that. Larry was stuck spinning in his shell forever.

Oh yeah... I think that glitch where the path gets blocked by blocks (8:53) happened on my playthrough of NSMBU on Switch. Unfortunately, this was about 4 years ago and I didn't record it... but it was certainly inconvenient (had to restart the level). I have a feeling it depends on RNG, as well as where the camera is (at least that's my theory). Also, I *think* I remember getting there, going backwards in the level a bit, and going back to find the path blocked.
9:27 this actually is intentional. Not just in that level but in every one of those types of level. In every level that starts with a giant wall and a pipe you can go down to enter an underground or underwater segment, the wall can actually be climbed over and you can skip the entire level, but you can only do this if you have a P-Acorn. Even if you get enough height with the regular Super Acorn or even the Propellor Mushroom, it doesn’t let you climb over the wall. Funny thing is too is that you can also do this in reverse. You can beat the level by actually going to the sub-area, and then once you get to the area with the flagpole, if you’ve managed to keep the P-Acorn on you the entire way through, you can climb over the wall to get back to the beginning of the level, and you can enter the beginning pipe again and play the whole level over again
I remember seeing your old video were you did the 000 pipe thing, and i tried many times, i even come back and try it again, many years have passed and i still haven't been able to do it, so i'm glad you said it wasn't worth the time on this video, it feels like a bit of closure lol
4:26 the flagpole here actually has a quite literal "flag" in the object settings that allows it to be affected by gravity, this is why it moves up and down on the platform
10:05 this reminds me of of the glitch in Super Mario 3D Land (the one for the 3DS not the one for the Wii U) where in level 1-2 you could get infinite lives by hitting a koopa and then jump on to the shell in a certain area and the shell will bounce back in forth in the right area while Mario is infinitely jumping on top of the shell
10:55 Similarly, if you touch the flagpole at 000, then the counter will increment 50 points per timer tick left as usual, but since there's no ticks remaining, it'll just go up even until the black fade goes out. That way the counter increments visually by more than 100k points, but it actually only grant 75k
I once was able to do a glitch on the original WiiU version where in one of the Kamek towers if you went into the boss battle at around 102 seconds left (near the time of the “hurry up!” sound at 100 secs) then the battle would play out without any music at all. Kind of eerie in a way, and I never got it to work again but that was a cool glitch.
