I'm still learning so much from Michael and I am sure I am not alone. He was a true Maverick on the guitar. Just watching him play is awe aspiring. RIP Michael 🙏
This is just so tasty. I sincerely hope that Mike understood the level of appreciation that fellow players had for his playing and teaching skills. What a talent...RIP Mr. Casswell.
Love this ! I never met Mike, but god rest his soul. Fk man. I don’t know what to say. It sucks So bad that he is gone. What a lovely guy he seemed to me. I am sure he is in a better place up in those clouds playing his guitar, where there’s no heartache or pain.
Beautiful and sublime... the story surrounding the guitar only adds to the video. :) I'd love to see Michael get the recognition and financial remuneration that he deserves, and this track showcases his talents perfectly. Michael Casswell - and in the US, Greg Koch - deserve so much more exposure for their years of incredible work and virtuosity. I hope that this video exposes Michael to a wider audience, people need to see and hear him as someone other than the man who can teach you to play like Jeff Beck or Steve Lukather. I loved his UA-cam video with Joe Bonamassa... all kudos to Joe for asking why he was needed for the jam-session.
Oh God...it's sooo good. This isn't the first time I've watched it. Even the video, snow flakes falling on guitar. It's all been said below. What a legacy.
I've watched Mike's tuition videos for years, and am shocked to find out, only today, that he passed away last year. A supreme Guitarist and a down-to-earth gent...such a HUGE loss for the music world. xx R.I.P xx
absolutely beautiful cross from michael lee firkins to jeff beck, from steve lukather style solo to joe satriani chord progression. amazing guitar playing!
I just found out about his death, he was one of my favorite teachers, I never met him in person but with his videos I often felt that way. thanks for everything michael
Wonderful player. First time I was able to watch him since he passed away, strange, as I never met him personally, but only had contact with him via Lick library. Where ever you are Mike, hope you're playing some jams with Jimi Hendrix, BB King, Les Paul, Chuck Berry, ..
Michael is definitely part of the most talented guitar performers. He ranks for me in a tight list of guitar masters that combine technique and creativity. I definitely won't complaint about his noise ! Cheers Michael: you've done it again \m/
I only discovered Michael a few years ago. Through his instructional Lick Library Videos. T A L E N T E D. He understood the guitar. I hope I can listen to his music for a long time, Rest in Peace.
Ellio1862 Because good things come to those who wait :) And let's face it, it's a great track! Even better when seen in 3D (and less of a wait!). Enjoy.
The most freaking part; This certain guitar, and another of his most valued, which belonged to Steve Farris, literally "drowned", in a river flood, were retrieved, acquired, and restored by Michael Caswell. Another favourite, was his Tyler guitar, in "burly water" finish...
Love to unforgotten Michael Casswell. R.I.P.
I'm still learning so much from Michael and I am sure I am not alone. He was a true Maverick on the guitar. Just watching him play is awe aspiring. RIP Michael 🙏
Missing you so much my dear friend. What a loss.
This is just so tasty. I sincerely hope that Mike understood the level of appreciation that fellow players had for his playing and teaching skills. What a talent...RIP Mr. Casswell.
Can't believe he's gone. Nice guy; brilliant guitarist and educator. Condolences to his family.

This guy is quickly becoming one of my favorite players... and I love Beck, but Mike's got his own spin on that sound. Awesome!

Майкл отличный гитарист и чудесный преподаватель игры на гитаре!
Fantastic fluidity in his playing. He will live on in the players that he inspires, me for one.
Fantastic....
R.I.P. Michael

Hi Michael, really BRILLIANT!!! ;-)))
Great number makes me wish I had 3D, but the music more than covers having no 3D TV.
I only discovered Michael a few years ago. Through his instructional Lick Library Videos. T A L E N T E D. He understood the guitar. I hope I can listen to his music for a long time, Rest in Peace.
holy crap.

Bad ass!!
R.I.P. :(
Jeff Beck meets Joe Satriani, all in one...

Jeff where are you 😮
Great track. Great production. Is that Pete Riley on drums?
BN5man Thanks for that! Almost.... it's Pete Riley on drums. And what a brilliant drummer he is!

David Guilmour ou Jef Beck?
Как он ( светлая ему память ) такое делал?
All these continuous nights beside me
Oh ,,I thought this was the Mike Caswell from the Skyles Calhoun Band.
Man im watching himm thinking hes alive then i find out hes not upsetting news r i p mike
Why do I have to wait for fifty four seconds before the music actually starts.
Ellio1862 Because good things come to those who wait :) And let's face it, it's a great track! Even better when seen in 3D (and less of a wait!). Enjoy.
I can tell jeff beck was a big influence here.
Those poor neighbours.
Such a loss.
The image of the guitar under the water seems somewhat premonitory considering that later he died drowned in a swimming accident.
The most freaking part; This certain guitar, and another of his most valued, which belonged to Steve Farris, literally "drowned", in a river flood, were retrieved, acquired, and restored by Michael Caswell. Another favourite, was his Tyler guitar, in "burly water" finish...
I love Michael for years when I found out he was gone I cried for a long time he taught me so much Beck and I really thought he was so humble
dude are you kidding me?those harmonics at the end were just unreal!
