  • Hey there! Are you on the hunt for some new bib shorts but feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the options? Well, have no fear, because I'm here to help. In this video series, I'm going to give you the scoop on three different types of Rapha bib shorts - core, classic, and Pro Team.
Now, I know what you're thinking, "Pro Team Training? Is that like a new workout routine for cyclists?" Nope, it's just a fancy way of saying that the fabric is slightly better and the leg grippers are top-notch. So, if you're all about that snug fit and grippy legs, then the Pro Team Training bibs are the way to go.
But, if you're like me and prefer a lower waistband (because let's be real, who needs their belly button covered while cycling?), then the classic bibs are the ones for you. However, be warned, they come with a pretty penny price tag. I mean, seriously, I had to double-check to make sure I wasn't accidentally buying a new bike instead.
Personally, I'm sticking with the classics, but hey, to each their own.

Sure! Sorry I should have included it in the video (think I did put it in the description though). I’m 188cm / 6’2’, and 80kg on a good day 👍

If you want to spend a fortune on bibs, at least buy something better, like from Assos.

I used to have some Assos bibs - wasn’t blown away by them either. Still searching - May try Albion bibs next 👍

Which has the most comfortable pad out of all three?

I reckon the Pro Team has the most comfortable pad, good leg grippers. I’m just not keen on the higher waist.
The Core and Classics have the same pad, but I do find the Core bibs, ummm, give you more of a wedgy up your butt crack !

@@PEDALLERSI agree. Just because something is extremely expensive doesnt necessary mean is better. I find rapha to be comfy. Cheers🤟

In my experience Rapha Pro Team is a far better fit than any Assos bibs. I suppose it depends on body composition. For me, Rapha just works, particularly the latest Powerweave option.
