Sliding a big Redwood past a tall gnarly old growth stob

This video is about sliding a big Redwood past a very tall old growth stob. It was the best shot for , but I never enjoy falling that close to an old rotten stob. Things can happen....if the tree would have drifted a little off course it could have collided with the stob and created a very hazardous situation.

Man have you been noticing the yellow jackets are already crazy this year?

So far my luck is holding...no yellow jackets yet. Has been a fair amount of rain and cold though. I usually don't see any here until later in the year.

Yes....not by much. Always makes me nervous falling past those things! It was my best shot....but it was a bit tense.
