This week we have an update episode with Teri Ijeoma! One of my goals this year is to dive into Teri’s Trade & Travel course & start trading as a side hustle. And I’m kicking it off by joining her Your First Trade Challenge. You can still join here by the way: sidehustlepro.co/firsttrade
Teri Ijeoma began her professional career working in education and nonprofits. When she started trading stocks eleven years ago, she initially saw it as an opportunity to simply supplement her income. However, she was so successful with this side hustle that in 2017, she decided to quit her job, travel the world, and begin trading full-time. While traveling, Teri was constantly asked to show others how she was successfully trading in the stock market. She set up and taught her first class in Thailand, her second in Vietnam, and had a fully-fledged curriculum created by the time she returned to the States. Teri now offers an online curriculum that shares her investing strategies with people all over the world. She also partners with organizations and companies to train and empower individuals to achieve financial freedom and build wealth through investing.
In this episode, Teri shares advice on how to finally get started with her course, how to work on your mindset for trading and gives some tips on how to reach your income goals with trading.
In this episode, we discuss:
- Her preferred trading method and what is the difference (going long vs short selling)
- How to actually get started with Teri’s trading course & trading in general + what causes us to delay getting started
- Can you really trade stocks as a side hustle to earn an extra income
- Paper trading and its benefits
- How to set concrete goals in trading

I made my first $15 in my live account. It's a small account, but I'm learning.
The only way you’re going to really learn what your being taught is to just do it. My first trade was terrible, but I learned from that mistake. My second trade was less terrible, then I learned from that mistake, then I learned from my 3rd, and 4th and 5th mistakes which were not as terrible. At which time I started making small profits.
But you can’t be afraid. You’re going to make mistakes, the great thing is that you will learn from your mistakes and make necessary corrections. Then you will find your own personal strategy.
I trade one stock primarily. I know it pretty well. It’s like having a personal relationship. But I don’t know everything, so when I make enough to take Teri’s course, I’m going to be on it!!!
Thank you for interviewing Teri Ijeoma!!!
Are you still trading and if so, how’s it going?
That's my Nigerian sister. I'm so proud of her and her endeavors. God is really using her for such a time as this. Keep moving forward in God and allowing Him to use you as a vessel spiritually and naturally. You were born for this! 🙏🏽
She is not a Nigerian but my Ghanian or at best my panAfrican wife to be if she's interested.
@@AttaKakraDerkyi Her dad is Nigerian.
This is my first visit here. OMG--Nicaila, you are asking THE BEST questions--totally drawing out the best information from Teri's knowledge base. That is exactly the measure of a good interviewer (IMO) and you are delivering!!! Thank you both
Thank you so much!

Another thing I feel like she should've mentioned is following the news on each of the companies were planning on following. For example, new innovations, products, projects they're planning on beginning, or whatever.
Aside from trading options on stocks, i also like trading options on ETF's like QQQ, SPY, SMH, etc.... Why you ask. Because they are ETF's, analysts cannot upgrade or downgrade them. So they trade a lot smoother than stocks which are easily manipulated by market makers, news or analysts.
Thanks so much for sharing

Need help opening a bank account after having a problem with my old bank
If you owe money to another bank, you can open up an account with “Wells Fargo bank” go online just open it, you shouldn’t have a problem.
Perhaps try an online bank. SmartyPig by Sallie Mae pays interest even on dmall balances. There is also Ally and many others. If you don't need ATM access that's a place to start. Good luck.
