You are absolutely right. I went through all of this and searched many other videos. I finally discovered/learnt that the only way to keep it like the original colour is to use paint on it. These are special paints meant for floor tiles. There is Indigo (which I believe started it and is used widely in Kerala). Since it is not easy to get these due to less branches, I used Asian Paints Apex Floor Guard. There is a certain way to apply this coat (3 coats). You can search the UA-cam for this application process. I have used it on my terrace in Delhi. I am finally happy with the results. I cannot put a picture here - you could have seen the difference otherwise. (My comment is NOT about cleaning of tiles - the video is very clear on how to clean the tiles shown. MY comment is meant for only those who use similar tiles as shown in the video but are facing dried/white patches even after cleaning and once the water dries out).
When it is wet it will look like cleaned and all strains removed. Once it dries well like other place, you need to see how it is. Possible the same issue may be there. So, don't trust video just like that. Somebody who tried should comment
