12:20 this amazing btw, but one improvement is to make the road for the machine's wheels out of cardboard, or even better glass, and then shoot it when the machine clears the road, that way nothing is out of place.
it wouldn't work for gaps that are too long because once it breaks the base of the support blocks it would fall. It would need to be connected at the other side first, but it would be difficult to know how the distance of the gap and how far it has been bridging. plus, on gaps too big it would be impossible. it might be possible if the design was changed a little so that the support would be connected to the bridge itself, but in my opinion, i think the support beams look cool the way they are. it adds more detail to bridges and makes them look a little more realistic.
Leafu I think he meant that you’d do that manually after the machine had crossed the gap. To do it automatically, it could connect the beams to the road.
I wonder if a mono-rail track would be something this can do, amazing build. I did wonder why it didn't drive on the road but ehh, who cares? It's really cool thanks so much for it!
"A single line Raycast", Is Moonbo a game developer? I think he makes MOD's but normally people don't use correct terminology like that. Also, Cool creation!
I don't know how USEFUL it might be, due to the relatively slow rythm at which it works, but it's certainly hypnotic. And as a proof of concept? This is an 11/10 for me. I would probably watch more of your videos, but there is a slight sound balance issue with all of them. On your channel, and only here, the volume on the left ear is lower than the right. And I only use a headset, no speakers. This drives me utterly nuts! x'D
Wow! At first I didn't believe it, but after some extensive testing, there is in fact a slight imbalance! From here on out, that issue will be resolved! Thank you for bringing that to my attention! I would have never noticed otherwise.
couldnt you have made the machine drive on the road it is making, then it wouldnt require another bridge building add on and wont be affected by downward slopes. The only thing it would need is likely some counter balance to stop it tipping forward. On other note well done its looking far better than the last video left off on.
Floating bridges don't look Good! If only it pillared for the bridges as well. You made it this far pillars would be easy. Add a counter, every x block stop the machines movement, place a 2x2 pillar of blocks from the ground up with a string of pistons, when last block is placed clear counter, and start the machines movement again.
Hmm if i can suggest a little improvement, you could put the bridge directly between the wheels at the start and separate it from the main structure with a bearing so it isn't welded to the low friction blocks : that way the user just have to weld the bridge section on the ground, delete the blocks and go instead of bothering with placing the road builder
This is absolutely AMAZING, this had to of been so frustrating to figure out. Just the engineering behind it is totally mind blowing. Excellent job dude, oh and by the way you have a new subscriber 🤘🤘
Would it also work if you would build the beams for the wheels out of cardboard so that the car could destroy them after it passes? Of course the blocks have to be connected to the bridge
If this isn't worthy of a sub, I don't know what will... Can this be rebuilt in survival? How much time does it take (approximately) to do 1 active block? Alternatively, how long in blocks and time was the time-lapse of the bridge? I'm assuming the layed down roadway may be attacked (targeted) during raids and/or aggro? How many bricks of each type per pass (single block depth)?
Moonbo do you still create stuff like that? What I'm looking for is a similar machine, that can create a road across the sea in survival. So apparently it has to be component-kits-friendly, but 16 blocks wide with 3 blocks on sides, to prevent the car to fall into the sea (for transporting the caged villagers) soo I was hoping for something smaller, that can autonomously build, while player can focus on gathering resources...
Reminds me of those Chinese high speed rail building things. Why didn't you just let the machine drive on the road instead of driving in front? then a separate system for bridges wouldn't be necessary. :)
Moonbo i wanna see you make the building road car to build cruved roads so you can place a car that I made that follows the road and the car is called road following car
not only does it look realistic, but actually works...
teach up your ways moonbo
I saw you i scap mans vid
I really liked that piston timer! Newer thought it could be used like that (ending sensor) to loop back to the start!
Now curves, T-crosses and 4 way crosses!
YES
Maybe
I was thinking the same thing. That would be awesome....wonder if I could use it to build my entire road system in my ScrapChat series :)
@@LionHeartBlue hi
Oh nononononono poor moonbo
11:30 the water looks so cool like that
It's so cool! it's in the same realm as Bertha, the largest tunnel boring machine, minus the tunneling part
The beams for the wheels could be the start of a railing too!

Next time: This machine builds roads AND bridges AND tunnels!
there’s no way you can dig through map terrain.
@@itswindyyy i mean a tunnel around it with blocks
this is soo cool the only problem is how slow it goes
I wonder if a mono-rail track would be something this can do, amazing build. I did wonder why it didn't drive on the road but ehh, who cares? It's really cool thanks so much for it!
bc it makes the roads
If it makes the road infront it should drive on it then bridges would be easy
You mean moon-rail
This may not be fast but damn is it impressive
Wow dude! This is so freakin good!
"A single line Raycast", Is Moonbo a game developer? I think he makes MOD's but normally people don't use correct terminology like that.

finally not a comment saying "First" or "Came at"
@@YtStaffMember I hate that crap!
@@JessicaMarinaRushie yea it just floods the comments
yes, he is in fact developing his own game! you can take a look at his twitter to see more about it :p
@@TheDartFrog cooooooool
He should make more construction vehicles like this , then i could make them in a survival city that I’m planing

absolutly amazing! love your builldings and this isnt a exception. Love how smooth it works
this was legitimately the coolest build I've seen from you so far. I only saw this video today.

Its like a TV show about the biggest machines in the waorld! Nice work man!
Amazing build your doing great. Keep it up.😁
Omg. So awesome! Loved your other video about this and I'm glad you made the finished product so quickly!! Great video
Next challenge: Build this to work in survival landscape
Cool build! Very satisfying to watch

@@coatguards8032 Of course it would, but free floating bridges look ugly.
@@ITpanda but it works (i dont like how it looks neither but all i care about is that it works)

It is a road printer
Moonbo, you are such a building genius! This creation is fantastic!! :-)
This is amazing and it looks so cool too.
It's name should be Rock and Roll.
Places a rock"aka block" then it rolls, in a 4-4 timing. Nice 👍
The wedge gang needs to invade lol
I need to learn logic in this game because he said this is relatively simple, yet I still don't know what all the logic gate modes do.
I wanted to build something like this from sometime but didn't have the time, nice build
It looks really cool!
I can see myself setting up two of these and focusing on building a couple roadside things while they work.
you should make a real car factory that builds functional cars
Very impressive. Good job.
Still underrated as much as he has been for years
dam you can go head to head with a big red boi with a chain saw
Looks like a cellular machinery or sort of like John Conway's Game of Life
Damn. That is seriously really impressive. Good job you earned a sub for that one!
Great build, it might even be wide enough for my all purpose miner.
A very satisfying machine
Amazing work on such an amazing game. Is there any other game so complex as this in creation mechanics.
There's a game called trailmakers, pretty similar i'd say. More of a vehicle and modification, custom part-y game.
Well hello there, future Monorail design.. :D
Great work Moonbo - your builds are next level!
Very nice…good thing you do not have to worry about weight of the machine when it creates the bridge 🙃
Nice one, Moonbo!
i have a sugestion
put some vacuum pumps to get the metal that was put for the wheels to get over the lake
I don’t understand what you mean, could you rephrase it?
That was radical.
Very Nice Build Moonbo :)
The intro theme hits hard 😫
that build is awesome!!
Look like your Printing a Bridge x)
This is why scrap mechanic is becoming famous xd (i think is becoming)
Would it also work if you would build the beams for the wheels out of cardboard so that the car could destroy them after it passes? Of course the blocks have to be connected to the bridge
how u shoot blocks from vacuum i try to make a weapon, but in vanilla didnt work or am i missing something?
Perhaps change the bridging blocks for the wheels to cardboard and have spud guns at the end so it dosn't leave behind a bar?
Very cool build sir
Yay he did an update on the road
how does it handle hills or similar changes in terrain?
Bardzo ciekawy pomysł i wykonanie.
moonbo you silly person - you could just offset the sensor by half a block! that way the sensor line is in line with the edges of the block grid
nice work on that *-*
Great Job!
The vacuum pump does this in vanilla? Or a mod is required?
I just love the intro musik
Good job
This is awesome
Moonbo couldn't you reverse the sequence so once its completed it would do the sequence in reverse. Increasing the efficiency of the process
If this isn't worthy of a sub, I don't know what will...

Looks like farm equipment... Now build a planter, waterer, fertilizer, harvester in one.
Very good
Woow 😎 EPIC
you like moonbo so much im here the first 20 seconds he uploads

Can it turn?
Could it make an inter section and corners?
you can try to turn round corners
so anyway, where can i find this on the workshop?
You could do Some blueprint editing to make it faster
It would probably get glitchy tho, and therefore much less consistent
I want a machine with built in decoration, aka holes. To simulate stockholm roads.
Awesome, can you make it turn corners?
Why not make the vehicle drive on top of the road that it is building? Then it could cross gaps with any geometry.
Moonbo can you tell camodo to play more scrap mechanic survival? Please do PLEASE!!!!!
I like it. But now make it do corners.
Wow
I don't understand how to use this. It just puts blocks on top of the road for some reason, not in front of them.
Reminds me of those Chinese high speed rail building things. Why didn't you just let the machine drive on the road instead of driving in front? then a separate system for bridges wouldn't be necessary. :)
You should use it with khan

Reminds me of my 3D Printer
so u can cross the ocean with that?
Epic X1000
Hey moonbo! How you been?
this only works until to run into a hill. that's just gonna look out of place in survival
Make something that can build a cover for itself so like something that builds a tube end with a cap so like a glass cola bottle throat...
Just have two of these machines working and a motorway could be built in minutes
The machine is yours I think so
what happens when 1 tiny thing goes wrong ?
i still don't know if he sais "more or less" or "more endless"
