Just a word of advice I got my cauliflower ear from my ear folding over an over from wrestling without headgear. Seems the mat will five it to you. Prob wouldn't be much of a video just wanted to let you know

I’ve been wrestling for 3 years and have got it twice in both ears
It is a genetic lottery draw on how easy you develop cauliflower ear. I got it within 6 months of training BJJ from my ears getting folded over. Other people are very resistant to getting it.
Cauliflower is super inconsistent between different people. I got it pretty bad within 9 months of BJJ, mainly from one bad injury. What's weird is that it didn't hurt at all for me, didn't even notice until I got home and showered.
Re-injuring hurt pretty bad though.

So interesting fact. The reason why Beethoven went deaf was because his abusive father would regularly slap both of his ears just like Houston did to Mark at the end. Eventually it caused so much trauma that he lost his hearing.

I believe you’re thinking of Thomas Edison, who supposedly had his ears boxed like that by a train conductor when he was a child, but the reality is that hearing loss ran in his family and it was likely of a genetic cause.

You know you can drain it within 12 hours. It will go back to normal. After that it will harden. It's very difficult to remove after that.
