first drop sounds like losing someone who's still alive, someone who you've lost as a friend out of nowhere or a partner, second drop sounds like losing someone to death. the fading out is like when you hear the news, the silence is the shock, the glitchy sound is your brain processing, then the complete rage and utter wrongness of it hits. the feelings spread out over multiple hours translated into a few seconds in a song. very impressive
