That was absolutely gorgeous. The first scene made me shiver and hold on to my teeth, but everything was stellar. The actors are phenomenal, the little one is absolutely phenomenal; so much comes through his eyes! The story, the music, the composition, the backgrounds, the colors, the use of light and shadows, THE CREATURE and the acting choices made for them is genius. Needless to say that i loved it!

This is just sad! I hate this way of adoption!
When they told the kid they were going to adopt him, he was so happy and I knew they would see his teeth and think twice which was what hurt me the most. I just didn't know that they were all gone. Pulling on my heartstrings
So the nuns didn't realize what the children were doing to themselves? My god! Such a great film. Thomas' performance was stellar but it's also extremely saddening seeing the condition of the children.

This is a master piece, I nearly cry when I see hope faded away from the boy face. He tried so hard, he noticed the first child who got adopted, had a bible so he bought one. Combed his hair, made himself clean so that the parents will choose him. The end just make me sad.

I love how they portrayed adoption as getting new friend(s), it really tied together how the monster wanted to be Thomas' friend and the final scene honestly to me; looks like he finally got adopted by someone he can learn to like.
Man it broke my heart seeing him trying so hard to get adopted.

I feel so sad for him. I know this film is fiction, but this really does happen to kids in orphanages. They wait and wait to chosen for a real family… and get the same fate as him. It’s so sad.

That was what I expected. I was disappointed the monster didn't adopt him. I mean in the end he is left with alive with 1 tooth. I don't see him getting adopted any time soon with only 1 tooth.

I'm adopted from Russia and I stayed in an orphanage till I was 11 years old, I know how life is hell there and this short made me remind that I was so damn lucky 😂 I absolutely loved it in every second
And this was launched the day before my Birthday 08/23/2003!
I just want to say, this was beautiful. Now I want to continously brush my teeth to show appreciation I EVEN have them. The monster that respected the boy, it gave me shivers and almost teared me up, completely beautiful; one of the most atonishing work I've ever seen thank you for giving me such a blessing day.

It’s the sad truth though, there is 10 parents looking to adopt per 1 child up for adoption. But they don’t get adopted because the majority of people want babies.

Im sorry but this is the BEST short on this channel and could easily be made into a feature length film. I thoroughly enjoyed it as grotesque and sad as the film was. I definitely want more!
This film was exceptionally made honestly the plot the actors the everything was awesome gave me shivers like in IT when the water was rising from the sink well done

This made me think of the short story "The Moving Finger" by Stephen King! Which is a brilliant story btw. Loved this - beautiful and creepy!

Excellent monster, horrible in the best way! Also the psychology of the tale and the actors, all in harmony. I want a part 2 and 3. Maybe one explaining how it came to be and a 3 showing what happens next.

Bro this is my favorite horror short ever. It's like a dark fantasy. Reminds me of Pan's Labyrinth for some reason. But that part where all the kids where ripping out their teeth and the happy music started playing ruined me
Mainstream horror needs to take notes. This is how you make something terrifying and still interesting too. Alot of people think you have to have jump scares for something to be scary, but this had none of those and yet got to me so much.
I can't even imagine there are many kids out there living without parents 😭. It's making me wanna adopt them all.

For me this has echoes of the little matchstick girl - the boys giving away what’s precious, not realizing that what they had was powerful until it’s too late.
The desperation of them all to find a family was so heartbreaking. Becoming what they thought was ‘right and proper’, sacrificing what made them unique.

This is a gem. Not as scary as your previous ones but still horrifying nonetheless. Great work
Wow, this was really really well done! One thing I'm not sure viewers are picking up on: the film is called Milk Teeth, which is another word for baby teeth, and it starts with Thomas having one loose tooth that he "moves along" to try to get money...so, the implication is that probably most of the rest of his teeth were also baby teeth. Meaning, he won't be toothless forever -- he'll grow another set. That's probably not true for the older orphans, but I like that it gives the story of Thomas a little ray of hope. Someday he'll have teeth again...someday maybe he'll find a forever family.
this was incredible, all of the actors impressed me so much. the concept was awesome and creative. i was cringing so hard when the kids were all knocking out their teeth, ouch.
I kind of wished it would've ended with the sink monster lady asking him if he wanted to come home with her and be part of a family

I really enjoyed this film. The story itself was engaging from the very beginning and was not predictable. It was sad to see how far the young boy was willing to go to get adopted by hurting himself ( and ironically, removing his teeth to improve his appearance to potential parents) The acting itself was very good, even in the scenes that had no dialogue. This was very well executed overall 👍🏾

I guess that since the boy was the first person to gift her with a tooth, and thus the first to aid her in her starvation, and as such save her life (I am assuming someone maybe neutralized her a long time ago by ripping out all her teeth or something, and only if she was freely given ”her” teeth back would she be able to hunt again, or something?), she decided to return the favour in the end by freely gifting him one of her new teeth after saving his life?
Maybe it was even his first tooth that she gave back?
Or maybe it was just the fact that he asked nicely, while all the others just used her without ever seeing her as a living being, or a friend.
I first thought it would end up with the boy being adopted, only it would be by the monster who accepted him before he was the cutest boy in the orphanage, instead of those shallow people that came picking and choosing like the kids were cars or something.

I wondered what the hell the little guy was going at the sink. Was it floss or was he using some sort of saw? I figured he was bracing himself to pull a string to extract the loose tooth. Then it goes down the sink. Sounds like the sort of luck I had as a child.
The voice from the pipes sounds like IT's hot date from the night before.

Wow I got so emotional at the end which rarely happens. This was amazing.
After I watched the clip, I remembered that I had 5 broken teeth.
She could have escaped this whole time at the moment that Thomas screamed she was worried about him that shows that she cares about him.
Okay, FIRST....as someone with soft gums, I was wincing just from looking at the thumbnail.
Second, that was a really great film, and it's kinda nice that the boy found a parent in the end (a demonic one, but still....they love each other, so what's the harm?)

U know, it wasn't scary... It was just about his life and his efforts to get adopted. Even that monster(?) wasn't scary. it just wanted teeth but when saw that the boy has not got any teeth, gave one of them to him to make him feel better.

And last but not least, I wanna talk about the movie... It was REALLY gorgeous.
Everything like the shadows, the actors, the music, the lights, the scenario... All of them were absolutely amazing and I really loved and enjoyed it!

This is perfect. I adore turning the tooth fairy into this creature who takes teeth in offer for ritches but in the end kills you with the thing you gave in in the first place. i wouldn't mind this being a movie. or a mini series
