The thing I really enjoyed about this movie is how they kept the characters together for so long and there wasn’t any single distinguishable antagonist throughout the film. This turned out to be a lot better than I initially thought. 😊

My goodness, this has to be the most tragically messed up movie which is actually deep, and dark. The characters are all over the place, but that's the beauty of this movie. Incredible!!!!!
I really wouldn’t care if a house was haunted or not if I liked it I would stay I wouldn’t bother the hauntees As long as they left me alone, we could share the space.

@@mr.warlight9086 If you saw such great horror movies as the string of pictures from Hammer Studios in England like Dracula with Christopher Lee, The Plague of the Zombies, The Curse of the Mummy´s Tomb, The Curse of Frankenstein, Quatermass and the Pit, The Reptile, and many more and these classics are from just one studio, then how you could mention this video with such glowing praise baffles me.
Moral lesson of the movie,most of us are probably stuck at something we don't know it's where abouts, we keeping rotating around it for years & years not knowing that it's cause is a spiritual cause.

This was a very dark, twisted movie with lots of twists and turns.

On a different note, I like both"Independence Day" movies and the "Jurassic Park" series.
Why does people in horror movies always do things that are opposite of what normal people do? Instead of running away from the forest haunted forest, they go in and try to solve the puzzle.

They tried it many times but just ended up being at the same place. Probably you missed something!
The girl made it through the forest to the road so it was obviously the only way out. It actually makes sense to try to solve a puzzle if that means you can figure out a way to be free.

What I don't understand is why didn't they give the girl without a tongue a pen and paper, right at the beginning ??
If you watch till the end you will see that it’s a lop that doesn’t end and the girl doesn’t know that so a pen wouldn’t help!
I also don’t understand why they didn’t call the police or an ambulance either…

I agree even though it was a loop she did know that the guy and the little boy were acting as people that they had lost and she could have told that sooner
In the beginning where they find the girl my first logical question is why not get her a pen I'm sure she can write down something so at least they'll know what she's afraid of. Once movies fail to satisfy logic I lose interest. Probably a decent movie, hope you all enjoy it.

I wish there was a sequel to this movie, that has the little girls back story and how she's just used to seeing new families come in and repeat the same mistakes.
It's a different little girl every time. The end reveals that. The events are stuck on a loop. Watch it again

Unless you're talking about the teenage girl that finally made it to the road just to get picked up by the guys at the end and taken back to the house. In that case the little girl with her tongue cut out would still be at the house because she wasn't killed and didn't get away.
I watched the ending for a third time and the little girl was not killed and didn't leave the woods either. The teenager went back to the house but the movie ended so the teenager could have been killed and the little girl could have stayed. The ending only reveals that nobody ever gets to leave the property. So they could still make a sequel with the little girl's back story that would include the teenager being killed by her dad. The dad was shot but he didn't die.
@@melissacole1821 I thought the first girl who had her tongue cut out died and got replaced by the other teenage girl, so that it's a new girl with her tongue cut out and the cycle begins again?
@@marksneddon the teenage girl was brought back at the end but it ended when they got her out of the car, her tongue wasn't cut out. The girl with her tongue cut out was still alive in the woods.
Really good for a low budget movie. Truly, really nice. I didnt buy the "one month after" part because anyone would have look out for everything on that house and things would have gone south earlier. But still, i loved it

And who would have thought that you see a car & your gonna make it outta there, not realising that you end up like the girl that was horrified at the start….what a great movie!!!

I believe the mom had killed her daughter and after her suicide the father could leave at any point but his son couldn't. Everyone else was trapped until the ppl who needed to die did. Meaning Emmy and the girl with the cut tongue could've left if Emmys dad died first . Idk if step mom could sounds like she did sins stuff too
she got involved with a married man and the wife died because of that affair, no blessing could come out of that, death is the end of all

There's nothing to understand, two families are trapped in a space of time where is impossible to get out of....the young girl with the black hair understood how it works...you have to walk backwards to reach the reality.....everything that happens doesn't have a lot of sense apparently....but which horror movie have a logic sense in its totality 😅....they are made to manipulate the minds...and as less do expect....booooo 😅 in the meantime I am in the part where the telephone ☎️ 😀 😅is ringing....sorry I have to answer 😅😅😅😅😅 1:13:47 ......

I've already seen this weird movie, it's amusing how many people see nothing wrong theatrically or with the plot in general, the person with the missing tongue must be illiterate, and unable to write a message warning the next group.

I can see why people are angry about the ending to an otherwise very good film. After about 1hr15mins a certain character acts very very daft and that person deserves what happens to them at the end. I guess it's justified by what that character does but it's still would have been better if that character used their brain.

I didn't get the ending. So she collapsed and is picked up by 2 guys in a van who take her back to the house? Can someone explain it to me.
She made it to the road. Then rescued by the people. But back at the same house. And the story will repeat. That's how the no tongue girl escaped in the starting of the movie but got back the house again. In short it's a loop story.

@@kimberlyshepherd270 honestly bolted basement door opened by itself at night when I was alone it was quite.scary,once I got 3 snakes in leaving room for 2 weeks I couldn't getrid of ,my friend shoot on of them,than they were gone,also windows use to open by itself , whenever I had company,relatives etc they want the lights open at night because they thinked house were haunted,I agree it was haunted or to old and moving by itself ,have a good day.
