Hello Jeanette, lovely to see you. You need to make things which bring you joy. We all need a little time out. I hope you have a fab time away and enjoy your trip to cool craftings. Love and hugs 🫂 xx
Just make what brings you joy … I have been so disappointed the last two years with advent calendars .. I’m not buying any this year … sending crafty hugs from Australia
Yes I feel just the same. There so expensive as well. I’ve sold all of my ad ents in my destash. Like you I’m not having any this year, if anything I’ll make my own.
I totally understand the overwhelming feeling. Mine comes from grand ideas and no time to complete them. I’ve got better at buying less, but not great at letting go of stuff that I ‘might’ need
Great to see you today. No matter what your content is, your chats are always enjoyable to watch. Enjoy Kendal and thanks for the amazing projects bags. ❤❤❤
Hello Jeanette. So happy to hear your chest. Is better. Nothing makes me feel better than seeing nature. The deer are absolutely beautiful. We see beautiful kangaroos most days and evenings and lots of rabbits. The birds are glorious and we have a magpie who sits outside our window and warbles away. The sounds and sights of mother nature are food for the heart. Really enjoyed seeing you and your podcast. Enjoy your couple of days away and take care. Love to you and Timothy. ❤❤
Lovely to see you again Jeanette enjoy your visit to cool crafting I can't wait to see Eric in his clothes I especially like his knitted jumper I could be persuaded to buy Eric just so I can knit his jumper. Please don't ever think your boring you certainly are not xx
Lovely to see you, Jeanette. I've been binge-knitting as a way to cope with a host of unpleasantness. How you are feeling about crafting right now is how I'm feeling about almost everything but crafting and my podcasting friends. 😅 I hope your craftroom clearout gives you some sense of satisfaction. Looking forward to seeing the new room. Have a wonderful time with Tim in the Lake District! xoxo
Apologies are not needed. Enjoy your time away. Enjoy your crafting remember it’s for your pleasure and isn’t a race, just enjoy the process. ❤❤Julie Tasmania Australia.
Lovely to see you back in your craft room Jeanette !! 💕💕💕 And I am more than happy to share the colours from my mandala just let me know if you want them 💕💕
It’s lovely to see you back and that your feeling better. Maybe your craftings been affected because you haven’t been well and you have a lot of things going on with family. My daughters a bit jealous because you haven’t and we have none and she so wants to have some snow has we don’t get that much here. Was your Mandala centre piece a hint for Tim to get you some flowers. Have a good weekend and enjoy you few days away xxx❤
Sending you much love. For this year you should definitely create what makes you happy. Enjoy your visit next week to Cool Crafting-it sounds like such a magical store. 💕
You have made me feel a bit better as all I’ve managed over the Christmas and New Year period is a few rounds on a sock and casting on and knitting a few rows for a waistcoat. 😂
Always lovely to see you Jeanette 😍 and I'm glad you posted your video 😊 I know what you are feeling, as I go through bouts of it myself. I think, with me, it's the Peri hormones. That's why I put off making my youtube channel because of mood. It's a weird place to be. I was making my shark while I watched you today, then I ran out of yarn. Im writing this while I see the deer from your window. You certainly live in a magical place ✨️ Can't wait to see your next video 😊
Jeanette , it's always lovely to catch up with you! It's like having a friend around. I'm sure you will find your mojo again soon. Just do what you want, when you want!! Have a relaxing time in Kendal. Take care. X
Jeanette, your chat today was as enjoyable as ever - no need to apologise! I am currently having a very big sort out in my craft room, and like you, being very brutal - but it will be worth it! I’ll think of you while I’m getting on with my major reevaluation of what will stay and what needs to go… xx❤
I think it’s good to clear out every now and then Helen. Decluttering helps clear your cluttered mind too. It’s been a tough year and I’m hoping to start this year as I mean to go on. Xxx
I feel the same as you about this year's Toft and it has affected my mojo too,. The bag is living in my spare bedroom and upsets me to look at it!!! Ridiculous I know. I'm going to have to pick myself up by my boots and give myself a good shame up!!! Love the look of your mouse x
Dearest Jeanette- so lovely to catch up with you ❤ I’m excited that you’re going to the Lake District- when we visited the UK my wonderful husband allowed me a whole day of Beatrix Potter-ing 😂 we went to Beatrix Potter World in Bowness-on-Windermere which was so thrilling and then we went to her house at Near Sawrey- I could barely speak which is very rare! You’re very lucky to have such a lovely craft room ( mine is almost ready!)- I’m thinking that maybe enclosed storage could help you because then, if it’s behind closed doors, you aren’t looking at everything the whole time. Have a lovely week dear friend xx
Hi Jeanette, I absolutely loved this video. I love your idea to only make toys this year. That is what I want to do also for 2025. All your projects are so wonderfully amazing. I can’t wait to see all of them as you finish them. Thank you so much for sharing so much joy and fun. 🐰❤️🐰
So lovely to see you today ❤I’m so glad you are going to do what makes you happy. I have one Maileg mouse in a little matchbox bed as well I love them, and I’m so happy you are getting one of Paulas pandas xxx
Jeanette. You are not boring at all. I love your podcast and your excitement with everything you do….your mojo is so strong I need you to send a bit across the pond!🤣🤣🇺🇸
Lovely to see you! I saw your destash but unfortunately I’m skint after Christmas!😂 Really glad your clear out has made you feel better. Don’t take on too many projects as you’ll be overwhelmed again. Your trip to beautiful Kendal sounds lovely. Hope you and Tim have a lovely time, it’s a beautiful part of the world. Take care x
Hello, Happy New Year. Lovely surprise to see you today. I love those bags, fabulous 😊. You are absolutely correct in doing just what you want to do, what brings you joy. Your plans for toys etc looks fantastic, I’m looking forward to seeing your completed items. God bless and enjoy Kendal. JulieAnn xxx
Happy to see you again Jeanette and happy to hear you waffle! All your bags are so sweet. Everything you showed was lovely. Don't be too hard on yourself, we all go through rough patches. I too am feeling like everything I start, doesn't work out. It will be okay. Have a great time on your little trip. Life is too short, enjoy!!
Glad to see you back even though you have lost your sew jo. Im sure that most people come to watch and support you as a genuine person. I must say i also started the marley ghost because i loved it when you showed it but like yours , mine is also in the naughty corner . I gave up on the first part as just wasn't understanding, moved on to the waistcoat and ive done it all wrong . The left side i think should be the right lol . I hope you have a lovely break away x
Hi Jeanette we all lose our mojo at times but it’s not just the crafting I come here for. I love your waffling and chat. Hearing your accent takes me back to where I come from. Your chair going down and your face made a painful day into a day of bursting out laughing and scaring the pants off my husband 😂😂. Paula’s makes are brilliant and I love her channel too because of the waffling she does. You are both people who are so relatable. Take care and look forward to seeing your year of toys 👍
Chat & a catch up is just perfect. You always manage to entertain us & keep things real. Never underestimate the magnitude of stress family drama brings & its subsequent impact on us. I find as I get older my ability to deal with family stress has got harder to deal with not easier . You never switch of from being a mum or supportive family member, you also run a small business too. Give yourself a break 😊
I'm also going to cool crafting on the 30th of January and staying in a Travel lodge for the night as I live in Nottingham, you introduced me to Cool crafting, Elmhurst fabric and Black sheep I really enjoy listening to you and seeing what you and Tim get up to keep smiling you will come through this x
Jeanette it was lovely to see you again. Ive had a good clear out .Feels good. I have a few maileg mice and I’ve made them a house I’ll send you a picture on instagram xxx🤗🤗🌷
Lovely to see you back Jeanette. Sorry you have lost your crafting mojo for now, maybe you have a little doggy shaped hole in your life at the moment. Your lovely little dog got you up and out of the house every day. For me, a walk first thing in the morning gets me going and excited to do some crafting with a nice cuppa when I get back. With all this wintry weather, there is not much incentive to go out and I think it's harder to get going - well, for me, anyway. I feel sure that when you have revamped your craft room, and other things settle down, you will get that excitement back as you are such a talented crafter. It is always lovely to see you, but if you need to take a break from vlogging, take a break. We will still be here, wishing you well.
You are right on toft!!! Was not a crochet advent..was a toft advent with there items. Was not a warm fuzzy holiday advent. Sometimes your crafty brain/heart needs a break. It will come back. Don't force it. I find I always want to craft at the holidays but just can't get the MOJO. Have learned let it go. Usually comes back when my routine has settled back to normal. End January. .😊 redoing the craftroom counts as crafting, good luck, always love an update complaining an all,we're here for you!!!!😊❤
Happy New Year Jeanette. Lovely to see you back. I hope you can get your Mojo back, but don’t rush things. Search out some toy patterns you want to make maybe. You need to look after number one and look after your mental health. Looking forward to seeing your new craft room. I’ve had a nightmare this year. First cut the top off my finger slicing meat 😬 (I was a chef, so should have been more careful lol ) Then tonight, I went outside to get something from the freezer, slipped on ice and landed face down on the floor. Thank goodness for my little Shih Tzu, Lady, as she alerted my Husband that I was laying out in the cold and couldn’t move. Think I’ve sprained my shoulder, so no knitting for me at the moment. Oh well, things can only get better lol. Take care of yourself xxx
What a great husband, Jeanette! You are so lucky to have such a supportive guy! Anyway, if you get a new sewing table the electric rise and fall tables are fantastic! I have one for my Handiquiter Sweet Sixteen stationary quilting machine. It’s so awesome to get the table at the right height ergonomically. It totally helps. Also get a chair that provides really good back support and goes up and down also so wherever you are (it rolls) working it’s at the right height. No arms is a must for me. Lastly for your sewing machine, see if you can get a table that sets the machine down so your sewing is all on a flat level. I hope I’m explaining it correctly. It makes sewing easier and more accurate with a nice flat surface. You will get your mojo back. Vlogmas takes a lot of energy out of you and one needs a rest of mind and body. Good luck! I love your enthusiasm!
So happy to see you on the UA-cam again. I can’t wait to see your redesigned craft room. Very exciting! Your toys are so great, I’m amazed and it makes me want to give toy making a go too. Maybe someday. It’s kind of fun to have things to collect. Those mice and bears look like they will be fun. Take care! John
I've just spent a wk de stashing my craft room as I felt exactly like you. How about keeping your ironing board for domestic use.and buy yourselves a table top iron board. Much better less room taken up.keep your chin up sending luv Pauline & Brucexx
Hello Jeanette, wishing you and Timothy a very happy new year. I admire your decision to just do want you want this year I have decided to try and use some of my sewing and embroidery stash. Have a lovely time in the lake district next week❤
Really pleased to see you back Jeanette, guess who was a lucky mum and received a gift of Catherine Hill fabric for Christmas 😊 it’s so lovely and I’m considering making a Roman blind with it so that i include all of the shops on the hill, so excited 🤗
Great to see you back, Jeanette. So lovely to see the deer from your bedroom window and the little cute blue tit. Hope you both have a great mini-break and that you enjoy browsing in Cool Crafting. x
Always enjoy your podcast, through the good times and not so good times, makes me feel like I not the only one. Prayers that all will be better in 2025! Family issues are never fun, but you can only do so much and taking care of your health and yourself is much more important(one of the main reasons I picked up crochet and knitting, gives my mind something to focus on other than what is going on around me). On another note, love the little mouse in the box, love the cotton rabbits, I have made a few of the bunnies and can’t wait to see your year of toys and your redesign if you craft room.
You are so right about the family issue. There’s only so much you can do, it as a mother it’s built in to be concerned 😟 I’m going to enjoy this years crafting. Lots of toys and journal making. Xx
I love your little mouse in her little box bed!!! 🥰 She's darling!! ❤ I'm so glad you posted this video today! It wasn't boring by any means. I love seeing the things you are making! 😍
Hi Jeanette, I'm glad you're back & feeling somewhat better. I don't crochet but if I remember the Christmas Carol movie wasn't Jacob Marley's ghost kind of stooped over to one side? Maybe his shoulders aren't supposed to be even? Also I wanted to mention that when our grown children have troubles, as much as we want to help we can't fix it for them. Don't let other people's problems ruin your health or mood. You can just be there for them as much as you can but don't carry their burdens yourself. God Bless!!
Hi Jeanette, welcome back, so lovely to see you today and so glad that youre feeling better now. Hope you have a wonderful time in Kendal. The deer are beautiful and the blue tit xxx
Dear Jeanette. I am so happy that you are back here with us all❤. I was worried about you. I love your podcast and vlogs and all the beautiful things you make. Happy new year to you and Tim and have a lovely time next week in the Lake District 😊
Jeannette, I was so worried about you. You seemed so down and had that bad cough. I had gotten use to seeing you everyday. I kept checking and was so glad to see you back. Welcome Back, my Video Friend!😊
Love to see you back and feeling better. Take care of yourself and Tim and your mental health. I have learned that over the last year myself. Love the deers I have alot of them everyday.
So happy to see you this morning. Have so much fun re-doing your craft room. Mine is torn apart right now. lol Loved the deer. I usually have them by my house, but haven't seen one this year. The little bird is so sweet. You hang in there because we all love you and want you to feel wonderful!!!
I'm glad to see you again! Taking time away is a necessary thing sometimes and you never need to apologize for that. I enjoyed your video. Really beautiful. Your upcoming trip sounds wonderful. I hope you and Mr. Tim enjoy every second of it. Looking forward to your next video.
Hope 2025 will be happier for you l have lost my mojo as well to many family problems for me to concentrate on my crafts it’s so disappointing. Time is a great healer. Not that l am wishing my time away. God Bless you and your family. Thank you for all the pleasure you give to us
I call what you described feeling, in your craft room, as : Visual Noise….. too much stuff demanding attention (colors, textures, things…), and it depresses creativity (in my humble opinion). I’ve been feeling that same thing, and am putting a lot of effort into purging and organizing. Your mouse is adorable!
I've been on the Maileg web site 'gifts for little ones 'oh my days Jeanette will have no money left when you see all the other mice ,furniture and clothes, your mouse is big sister mouse
Lovely to catch up with you and glad you’re feeling better craft wise…and chest wise. We all need a little time to ourselves to refuel the energy. Excited to see your little bear…and crochet mouse!!
Thanks Anne. I’m doing a little more crafting thank goodness my craft mojo has returned.
Hi. Jeanette love the little mouse it's so cute just come across your video now love your hairstyle look forward too seeing your next video ❤I just loved your bag's and I love fairy's,and Angel's and all cute thing's ❤
Oh wow we have a lot in common. Lol
Welcome to the channel. Xx
Oh I have felt exactly the same - overwhelmed! Trying to do EVERYTHING! I think shall be destashing - you can just have just too much STUFF!
Yes I totally agree. I had far too much of everything. Now I’m de stashing I feel slightly better. Xx
Thank you so much Lesley.
Lovely to see you back ❤

Really loved this chat Jeanette, sometimes we just need to stand still and take stock, absolutely no apologies needed. Love Dan. X
I totally understand the overwhelming feeling. Mine comes from grand ideas and no time to complete them. I’ve got better at buying less, but not great at letting go of stuff that I ‘might’ need
I’ve been brutal. In fact 3/4 of my supplies have now been sold / gifted or I’ve donated to charity. It feels invigorating. ❤️❤️

Hello Jeanette, wishing you and Timothy a very happy new year. I admire your decision to just do want you want this year I have decided to try and use some of my sewing and embroidery stash. Have a lovely time in the lake district next week❤
Happy new year!
Really pleased to see you back Jeanette, guess who was a lucky mum and received a gift of Catherine Hill fabric for Christmas 😊 it’s so lovely and I’m considering making a Roman blind with it so that i include all of the shops on the hill, so excited 🤗
Wonderful. What an amazing idea. I’d love to see that when it’s finished.
Great to see you back, Jeanette. So lovely to see the deer from your bedroom window and the little cute blue tit. Hope you both have a great mini-break and that you enjoy browsing in Cool Crafting. x
What a gorgeous sight from your bedroom window...animals are such a mood lifter !! Enjoy your mini break ☘️♥️
Thank you so much. Xxx
I am always so tempted by the Maileg mice and their collection. One item is cuter than the next.
Have a wonderful time away and at Cool Crafting.
Thank you so much xxx
So good to have you back. Be kind to yourself and Happy crafting for 2025 xx
I'm so glad!
God Bless!!
Have a lovely break
Hi Jeanette, welcome back, so lovely to see you today and so glad that youre feeling better now.
Hope you have a wonderful time in Kendal.
The deer are beautiful and the blue tit xxx
Dear Jeanette. I am so happy that you are back here with us all❤. I was worried about you. I love your podcast and vlogs and all the beautiful things you make. Happy new year to you and Tim and have a lovely time next week in the Lake District 😊
Thank you so much!
Jeannette, I was so worried about you. You seemed so down and had that bad cough. I had gotten use to seeing you everyday. I kept checking and was so glad to see you back. Welcome Back, my Video Friend!😊
Thank you so much!
Love to see you back and feeling better. Take care of yourself and Tim and your mental health. I have learned that over the last year myself. Love the deers I have alot of them everyday.
Thank you so much. Xx
Thank you so much!
I love Maileg ❤️ Good to see you a bit perkier. Crying laughing about that sweater, it was the best things I've ever ever seen 🤣🤣🤣🤣😘❤️❤️❤️
Oh that bloody sweater Dawn I remember it well. 😂
Jeanette I’m happy to hear you are feeling improved, hopefully your crafting mojo will return. Thank you for the deer they are fantastic
Thank you so much!
What did the soft advent end up being
@@CHERYLKELSEY-l8s it was Hansel and Gretel but I didn’t finish it.
I did not like this years toft at all.
Hope 2025 will be happier for you l have lost my mojo as well to many family problems for me to concentrate on my crafts it’s so disappointing. Time is a great healer. Not that l am wishing my time away. God Bless you and your family. Thank you for all the pleasure you give to us
Happy new year!!
it was lovely to see you XXX
Lovely to see you .pleased you are feeling better and good sort out always helps. Enjoy your trip away take care 😊
Thank you so much 😊
I call what you described feeling, in your craft room, as : Visual Noise….. too much stuff demanding attention (colors, textures, things…), and it depresses creativity (in my humble opinion). I’ve been feeling that same thing, and am putting a lot of effort into purging and organizing.
Your mouse is adorable!
Maileg is pronounce My-Lye (rhymes with pie or sky)
Thank you.
I've been on the Maileg web site 'gifts for little ones 'oh my days Jeanette will have no money left when you see all the other mice ,furniture and clothes, your mouse is big sister mouse
Give your decision making a rest and work on whatever you fancy each day, be it 10 different things for 10 minutes, or one thing for ages!
What was the toft thing supposed to be Jeanette ?
Hi if you go to Memily makes podcast 75 she shows her finished Toft, hope this helps.
Hansel and Gretel riding a bird.
Its not a rabbit its a mouse!!!
The creatures are from little cotton rabbit.
