I've found that swapping Amalgam of the Deep for Mistake generally ends up being better - it really improves the odds of getting a turn 1 patches hit, and more early pressure helps in most matchups.
I bet the bronze dragonflight developed time travel powers out of an intense desire to go back in time to when they were in middle school and stop themselves from talking about coming all the time.
I wonder if they'll ever make a card that deletes the current game's history. Imagine the possibilities. Yeet the graveyard, reset once per games, remove all "for the rest of the game" effects, etc. That would be a sick tech card that nobody would ever run.
@@Cyrikyty imagine they release a card that removes every minion that ever died from the graveyard, then they release another card that summons all removed from game cards "eg Return from the Different Dimension"
I've been playing this deck since expansion day 1 (divine spirit combo and not), and I've been cooking that up since the card reveal, and I found better results without the combo; simply playing aggro and playing a "bloodlust" followed by other more generic buffs was more consistent. That said, I still think divine spirit is the real culprit here, because it wins games it simply shouldn't (much like every other deck that does something you can't interact with). I mean, there's a reason that combo was removed from standard. The aggro version couldn't simply win from no board, you either had to stick some dragons or do previous chip damage. I played a guy earlier that was running Horn of Wrathion, and I'm going to try it later, seemed to give pretty good tempo with draw.
Nah, the Inner Fire deck has come in and out of the meta various times at some point. The issue has never been the buffs but anything that allows you to attack immediately (mostly the potion but now the turn skip). You can play around charge minions with high health but it's much harder to play into a mind-controlled minion with charge followed by taunt and mega buffs. And now Priest can turn skip.
You act like priest doesn’t have the ability to play the same card 10 times. Remember when aman'thul first released? Astral automaton is also another great example for the point I’m making.
11:10 I do believe you did actually miscount here but it was lethal regardless even before the Bless. Because Zarini was 6, 8 from Shield, 16 from Inner Fire, then +2 from Bless is 18. However, you also had 4 damage on board meaning you had exacties
Someone beat me with a similar deck on ladder. I was also playing priest, a weenie deck with frazzled freshman, ect, and a bless or two to buff up my creatures. He tutored for a card, I thought for sure ‘deal 5 damage to all nondragons’ but he went for the inner fire to play for the win.
Extra turns are a problem because they fundamentally break the rules of the turn-based game. See also: things that let you cheat on resources (mana). Putting a way to get extra turns into your game is just asking for balance problems down the line.
It doesn't help that "gain an extra turn" is stupidly powerful at a minimum, it is effectively equivalent to "refresh your mana crystals, gain 1 mana crystal, draw a card, refresh your hero power, activate any start and/or end of turn effects once each, give your minions charge/windfury, etc." It's such a loaded effect, I don't think it would be balanced even at 10 mana.
Extra turns in a game that has minimal disruption on the opponent's turn shouldn't be a thing, finisher or not. One thing this game is horribly inconsistent with are things that retain agency. Cards like 4 mana Theotar, bad. Cards like Time Warp and the Priest card, well if you slap a condition on it, it's okay, right?
30/40 games i play are mages with the at 7/8 turn quest for 2nd turn counter and frozen alibi * ice block. So i don't even bother to get out of plat for now 😂.
I hate the new Priest dragon card only because it opened t he "once per game" pandora's box. I have a feeling that will be where most of the hate comes from.
Hey roffle 👋 May I suggest you a wild deck? Namely Bird Priest. I think it has in recent times gotten enough support for a revisit. But anyway, thanks for all the great content you are releasing :)
Impossible. Wondrous Wisdomball only gives helpful advice, and it gives extra turns.
I've found that swapping Amalgam of the Deep for Mistake generally ends up being better - it really improves the odds of getting a turn 1 patches hit, and more early pressure helps in most matchups.
Isn't the reason he is using Amalgam for the card generation and not turn 1 patches, He's got charugion (Idk how to spell it.) for that
taking out amalgam as a way to generate dragons makes the deck slower and thus worse. He already has the pirate dragon 1 drop as mentioned
The auditory dissonance of "Take your time... *DONK* " gets me every time

I can't wait until they print a card that allows your One Per Game effects to trigger twice!

They didn't learn their lesson from Open the Waygate, and they weren't going to learn it now.
Really? Where do you think that once per game comes from?
"Dragon Inner Fire Priest" with Bless instead of inner fire 😂
Yes but have you considered: With this naming convention you can nickname it "Dinner Priest" so who's actually the silly one here?

Love vids. Watch nightly to fall asleep too. Not in a bad way. Routine to decompress
I already despised facing quest mage... all... the... bloody... time... Now priest can also take an extra turn. I love where HS is going.
Im unironically 40-8 with this exact list
Big priest heard you like dragons….. dragon these turns out as long as possible!!!

I think extra turns should be limited to once per game. Should be a combo finisher, not a infinite way to guarantee lethal.
@@Rezafeild Zarimi is limited to once per game. He's also rather easy to tutor and not very difficult to activate though, making him very consistent.

If you're not clearing the board yes. You waste 5 mana and are rested, you only get to do one tutn of damage most times
Incredible how many games could be fit into this video
You could also use a droment creature and immediately smack 2 turns

Roffle, You're amazing! I hit the like button as soon as I saw it!
Go away bot
Zarimi is kind of like if their was a charge minion that refilled all your mana, drew a card, and gave all your other minions windfury.
11:39 OOOh!
So I heard you like Dragons
Zarimi in wild is just 5 mana 4/6 charge with ability to refresh mana crystals

Wouldn't Brann Bronzebeard be good here?
22:05 turn 1 btw
Pretty sure that having extra turns just means you're more likely to overdraw which, as we all know, means you lose. 🤪
How good Is this deck ? Is good to craft IT please help ( sorry for my English )❤HELP i dont know what to do. Ty guys 😊 have a nice day .
