Hearing your pinoy accent, your po and opo, talga, and many pinoy expression and even your "pagkakamay" while eating, I would guess you may be born in the Philippines but in reality, u just learned it by practice! Amazing.
I am a Filipino, living in Singapore for 10 years and I am doing the same. I am learning multi languages here, Chinese, Malay and a little bit of Indian, Myanmar and Korean too. I can say, exposure to other culture is one of the best survival kit I have with me.

@@johnnier.o.d4746 in a way I do agree with u, I've always wondered by he's not fluent yet in either Bisaya or Tagalog, his gf is from Cavite so Tagalog but he lives in Mindanao so Bisaya. Brett sounds more fluent in Bisaya actually than him though he knows more words than Bret but Bret tries to speak Bisaya straight even if he had to mix some English words sometimes. The only way to be fluent is to limit English if u're talking to locals otherwise he won't really be fluent.

I think you’re doing it right having Q&A while you’re eating. Oo nga iba talaga yung lasa ng mga gulay sa Pilipipinas lalo na sa provinsia na organic na walang halong chemicals through use of fertilizers and pesticides. I really miss my childhood days eating fresh fruits and vegetables without any chemicals. Also, all home cooked meals. Love watching your videos.

@Jess, I like the way you deal with those people saying meron na namang pinay na nakaahon sa kahirapan. Pinapakita lang ng mga taong ganyan ang pag iisip na meron silang inggit sa puso nila. Dapat magsaya nga tayong mga pinoy na mababawasan ang naghihirap sa atin at maging masaya tayo sa tagumpay ng ating kababayan. Sana marami pa ang Jake na handang magmahal ng kalahi natin at maging masagana hindi lang sa materyal na bagay kundi bilang isang masayang tahanan.
