@@jayCLTeeee I guess Midland has a reputation of stopping the productions of very awesome radios and keeping the bad ones (such as the HH50, personal opinion.)
I had enough money to buy an HH54VP2 with the awesome cradle, only to find out in disappointment that Midland stopped the production of it.

If I get a severe thunderstorm warning it’s only on the weather channel (iPhone). It just goes BA-BUM!!! (Like a radar). Not the EAS tone, but it’s no show on TV.

Usually because SVR's aren't as "severe" as they though. If it's really bad, then they'd broadcast it to the TV stations and use WEA to have people's phone go off as if it's a Tornado.
That's what happened to me.

Well his collection now would cost around $800 - $1,000.
Absurd, but here is my tip: Start collecting each radio you want one-by-one. Eventually, you've have "that much" or more.
