Hello,, this was a great vid to watch, I have been looking to fish there / and purchase a place there for a while, I have eventually purchased a plot on Fishing Lake / where if you would ever like to do a video on this lake etc,, I could accommodate,, this would help me massively,, for some ideas my self and fellow fisherman who could access my lodge / Thanks SSK
@@andrewwintle1596 depends on budget, location and who you going with. Places for a couple of nights...Westmoor, woodlakes and recently I went to Mill Lodge lakes in essex with pods. There are some lovely places in the cotswolds. Cherry lakes has some lodges on a stunning lake. Likewise, Devon has some great looking locations but I've not down that way yet. Even tattershall lakes is great if you can get a weekend and if you have a family to take with you then they have things to do there too.
Brilliant! I fish it 3 times a year usually, rudd is the easier or the big fish! But fishing lake has them up to 40, but it’s one hell of a hard lake to fish! Love to see you back fishing the big lake🙌
@@lottiefishingbooked on Osprey for December, we did go and end up on “fishing lake” it was absolutely terrible, solid with weed, 2 foot deep everywhere. Next door was someone who owned a lodge, said he’s had it 6 month never caught anything 😂
Not sure if you’ve used them before, but highly recommend buying some stage stands for fishing on platforms like that. Less kit and far more solid than pods. New sub here 🎉
i got told you weren't allowed to night fish the security came round and told me this ,ididnt even have my rods in the water at the time some great fish there well done top angling
Those Swans are a Menace! I follow Snagged Bro( hilarious videos they make!) and Tom has a garden peg and he is getting harassed by Swans the poor fellow!
@lottiefishing nice. I'm originally from Essex, born Southend, and I grew up around there . I came to New Zealand backpacking as you do and I've been here nearly 30 years now. I love watching the fishing channels over there🙂. Snagged Bro, Black Country Piker, and fishing with Carl are great watching. Snagged Bro are my favorite though ( after you of course!!!😆) .

I did a week which was a couple of grand but they do weekends for a few hundred depending on time of year. Unsure how much for one night. This one was booked through Away Resorts.

It’s just for me and my partner so only me fishing and a little get away for her! I’m in Gloucestershire!

Just booked on for Monday to Friday next week, not lakeside but very close. Me and a mate, just fishing and a few beers. Can’t wait.

@thomasthetankengine2257 only know it as osprey lake. Not sure what/where lake 2 is but there are quite a few different fishing lakes at Tattershall.

Was just dark cause of winter, wasn't night fishing just evenings and put the bite alarms on quietly.

You did really well I fished the island lake between Xmas and new year and I couldn’t buy a bite so for winter fishing you smashed it 👍
