Thank you. Practitioners are who I want to learn from. True about a lot are not great communicators. Thanks for sharing I really appreciate your lessons and commentary.
Great Video. May I ask a question? Do you use or recommend shared hosting for small to mid Business projects to save time on sys admin task? If yes what shared hosting features are essential from your perspective?
Let's think of it this way, do you prefer an apartment building, Semi-detached or owning your own single family home? With an apartment there's issues with power, with noise and you might get an inconsiderate neighbour. Another thing is that most of the title an apartment means it's lower quality. In Tech it's an issue with your IP, server resources and software you can run on it. If you run a business, I much prefer getting a VPS which is like a semi d. More control and more power and affordable prices. Tickets and customer service is the top thing, you don't want tickets that take 3 days to get a reply and you want customer support trying their best to solve your problem instead of telling you they can't. Pay more for customer service.
Man if you really wanna teach as a practitioner then do case study projects from your own experience - thats the real value you can bring in. It will make you record 8,10 maybe 20hrs long videos but thats when you can really share your experience, show people how it works end to end, from concept scratch to production and post prod support.
I always find quite a lot of good videos on it. If you're going to watch 20 hours, you're sold. But I find our challenge is with people who are not convinced about PHP.
I'm based in Singapore. The PHP market is actually very stable because it's not based on crazy hype. If you doing some JS or maybe even tableau to justify those salaries they're going to let people go.

Are you based in the USA? How is the IT market in there? Is it easy to get a job? Thanks.
