I literally had ten minutes to gamble on (read: “waste”). So I said, why not start watching this? Soon I was thinking that if I’d only known this was here, I would have invested ten minutes trying to find it. Excellent information. This is the kind of knowledge base we never take the time to acquire.
This is excellent. If you ever think Studio One (or other DAWs) is doing something that makes no sense, watch every part of this video. It details how the DAW is doing what it is supposed to... because we screwed up something.
I had no idea about the golf club thingy. That is SO important to know. Sometimes when modifying the length of an event, the cursor seemed to have a mind of its own. Now I get it!
all i can say is thanks so much, i gotta admit studio one expert is the most informative place on the net for rock solid info when learning this wonderful DAW. to everyone on this site who contributes to the learning of the software i say personally THAK YOU ALL SO VERY MUCH U GUYS ARE THE BEST, an have a wonderful an prosperous year...
Thank you so much Don, your explanations are great because they make sense. I can't wait for more of your tutorials. Also please let me know if you do any instructional sessions or teaching do Studio One. I'd sure be interested. Thanks!
Thank you...right now I have been trying to find out how to use "slip event" Another tutorial I had showed me, but I missed something about those key commands, now I know how to find them as I need them. Thank you.
This helps dramtically, Ive been changing keyboard commands since i got S1. Thx for the videos keep them coming. Ill thank you in my grammy speech. lol
Is this the first and the only vid of the S1 Foundation Series ? Because I can't find the following ones ? By the way, Thank you so much that's exactly what I needed !
Great video. Is it possible to place the cursor on the arrangement timeline in places that don't have events? for example, if you wanted to select and empty portion of a track to allow a lead in before an event plays?
Do you have any videos that talk about the different playback options? Like when I play audio for a while and hit stop, how can I get the cursor to stop on the point I terminated audio, as opposed to going right back to the starting point of the cursor I previously selected?
WDR it’s one click shortcuts that have actions attached. For instance if there’s an event highlighted and he clicked on +3dB, that even would be 3dB louder. Hope that helps.
i wish i had come across this the day you uploaded it. Great vid, and even though i found out most by myself, there's still new info! Greatly appreciated, thank you! Link to the info view video ua-cam.com/video/xdTDPJnaeWw/v-deo.html
Cool advices he... But seriously you repeat 3 times every single easy information, like you're talking to disabled people. The video could have last 5 minutes instead of 15. You're not at school, you're making a UA-cam video, the rythm is not the same : if we don't understand something, we can pause the video and rewind.
