Just Ground a umpopulated Vcore Phase so the Short will Take More Ampere and you see which DRmos is Stuck Closed. No need to use more Voltage But with 0.8V And ~1A You will not see Anything but With a Current Limited Lab PSU You Can Inject 0.8V 10A And since you Grounded Vcore 10A Will go Though the Broken Drmos straight to Ground making it light up on the Thremal Cam.
Mosfets are like sparkplug in a engine they fire in a sequence and timing at the GPU core. Just like how the engine would run without one spark plug firing the GPU would start without the MOSFET but the firing will not be efficient and performance suboptermised but it's enough to test the graphics Card.

You are a bit overdoing it with the: applause, aww, trumpet sound effects (the music is fine), they dont really add anything. The sub,like, bell notification is a bit too long and intrusive (if its animated it will also draw the eye in a corner of the video)

You can use the vcore coil as ground
No it's not the Vcore coil but the brass standoffs used as ground
